TITLE AND CHAPTER:

Confronting the Dragon by Mark Cheverton

Chapter 37: Riding the Source

MY PREDICTION:
I predict Gameknight will defeat all the monsters, find that Mason is really Notch,
the creator of Minecraft, and Gameknight will ride The Source back to the physical
world.

SETTING:
The Digital World of Minecraft

MAIN CHARACTERS:
Gameknight, a kid from the real world named Tommy
Crafter, Gameknights best Villager friend
Hunter, a female villager friend
Stitcher, Hunters sister
Malacoda, a massive ghast
Erebus, a tall Enderman

THE PROBLEM:
The problem is that there is some kind of virus happening to the monsters of
Minecraft, making them more violent and hating.

SEQUENCE:
In the beginning, Gameknight starts stuttering because he cant believe that Mason
is Notch. Then, he gets mad that all the villagers had to die and that he couldnt just
fix it since he was the creator of Minecraft. After, Notch explains that another
artificial intelligence segment was introduced to Minecraft before it came out the
virus. Later, Notch says that he is just a normal user, connected with the server
thread to the server, and he can just disconnect and go back to his home in Sweden.
Finally, Notch says that you have to be careful when going into the source, because
he has no idea whats going to happen based on whats happened before. He
suspects that the system will test every amount of courage and if you have the
smallest fear you may not survive.

THE SOLUTION:
Malecoda is killed by treason Erebus gets the other Endermen to push him into the
abyss. Erebus is killed by Gameknight face-to-face.

THE BIG IDEA:
After defeating the monster army, Notch explains how everything works in
Minecraft and Gameknight rides The Source back to the physical world.
