measurements from 10mm depended
on the state of rulers and measure for
80mm.
Line up the square line on the sheet of
Copper measured in operation 10 with
the light shadow of the press blade
seen by above of the Guillotine.
Ensure that the area is safe and no one
is near or in the yellow marked zone
of the guillotine.
Measure the diagonals from corner to
corner
Center punch where the diagonals
cross
Measure dividers at 80mm then place

diagonals and draw a circle

REMARKS

Using tin snips carefully cut around

the circle.
Ensure that the tin sips are used
correctly and when applying the cut
the metal folding up not down.
Ensure for constancy slowly cut
around the shape and check to see if
the cut is going around the circle
correctly.
Ensure hands are never near the belt
Ensure even circular motions
Always face the material down wards
and away from your body and hands
Ensure the material is square flush to
the saw.
Allow cooling agent to circulate to
blade
Always set the blade at LOW. Speeds
are always determined by the
thickness of the blade
Have a firm pressure on downward
motion of blade to cut steel. It will
allow for a cleaner cut.

Never wear gloves.
Apply half mood action to round off

Ensure you start with the tighter
bends first (e.i the smaller ach)
Ensure consistent movement of bends
Line area of the flat bar that needs to
bended evenly following the arch
equally.
Insert dill bit into the middle of the
chuck insure it is tightened straight.
Insure table is adjusted to the right
high and table leaver locked.
Ensure tail of clamp is facing the back
of the machine for safety.
Slowly apply the pull-down pressure
using feed leaver.
Insure that it is at `the smaller size

Keep square when rotating clockwise.
For each rotation, counter rotate to
relieve tension to prevent snapping.
Apply grease to tap to make it easier
to rotate.
MIG welding is a semi-automatic
welding process in which an electric
arc is stretch between a continuously
fed electrode wire and the work.
Ensure the speed of the electrode fed
is at a the appropriate speed
determine this on a scrap piece of
metal to ensure a proper weld for the
job.
Ensure all PPE is warn (gloves and
welding coats) and welding mask are
properly fitted to protect your eyes.

Keep cutting tool at 90 degrees

Keep a constant movement circular
rotation of handfeed wheel
Always check diameter with
micrometer
Face the Aluminum to correct
diameter
Ensure that the parting tool is
perpendicular to the material being
used.
With the parting tool insure that right
face of the parting tool is at the end of
your job.

The standard boring is to bore
cylindrical holes coaxial with the
centerline of the lathe.
The hole is started with the drill that is
large enough to insert the boring bar
in this case it was 25mm drill bit.

To temper the copper, the OxyAcetylene needs to be set at Neutral

Flame where equal volumes of oxygen
and acetylene are being used.
Evenly brush the neutral flame around
the copper till it turns cherry red.
Place the copper into shaping jig while
still red for shaping
Once shaped use beliers and dip into
water quick (and in out motion)
Clean metal or file rough edges
