To provide better Power Evacuation facility for the plant with minimum line
losses and with Minimum breakdowns accompanying all the safety
procedures and Greenko standards.
1. Minimizing the loss of generations time because of electrical equipments
failure.
2. Minimizing idle time of equipment due to breakdown.
3. Minimizing the repair time and repair cost
4. Minimizing the loss due to generations stoppages
5. Efficient use of maintenance electrical equipments
6. Prolonging the life of capital assets by minimizing the rate of wear and tear
7. To keep all productive assets in good working conditions
8. TO maximize efficiency and economy in generation through optimum use of
falsity
9. To minimize accident through regular inspection (or) working and repair of
safety devices
10.To minimize the total maintenance cost which includes the cost of repair ,cost
of preventions maintenance and inventory carrying costs, due to spare parts
inventory
11.Impact of poor maintenance are generation capacity, equipments cost,
service quality, employee safety, etc.
Maintenance performance: (Greenko rules)
1. Generation of maintenance :
2. Down time index
:
3. Maintenance
:
output/maintenance cost
down time Hrs/ Generation Hrs* 100
maintenance cost/ capital cost *100
Responsibilities of maintenance:
1. Ensures that equipments is properly use , selected operation & maintenance
based on Greenko rules.
2. Establishes and monitoring programs for critical time sections equipments
analysis.
3. Corrective maintenance includes repair of broken down equipments and
usually reactive.
4. Condition based monitory involves monitoring of equipment condition and
plant operation on real time basis and addresses a paternal problems.
Daily & Monthly maintenance of electrical equipments
