Archetypes & Symbolism in Lord of the

Flies
William Goldings novel Lord of the Flies is the quintessential example of archetypes and
symbolism in literature. Nearly every object, character, and situation in the novel represent
a higher meaning for society.
Take your understanding of the novel and symbolism to create an artistic representation to
display your knowledge.

Some project ideas:

*poster
*video (reality TV show, interview, documentary, movie preview, etc.)
*digital presentation (PowerPoint, Prezi, Chatterbox, etc.)
*original artwork (any medium)
*3D art / diorama
*an original song / song parody
*an original dance
*dramatic reading / original poem

archetype should be clearly explained with multiple, specific examples from the text given.
