TRAUMA

Trauma tells about a couple name Handoyo and Rohimah. Handoyos mother wanted
him to get married again to have a child. Handoyo got confused because he cant choose he
follows his mother or leaving his wife. His mother couldnt leave for long time again to have
a grandchild.
In the early of the marriage Handoyo can understand the reason why his wife didnt
get a pregnant because she still leaves with her parents-in-law. At the time Handoyo tried to
save his money because he just a clerk in a private company. Then because his prudent, so he
can bought a small but comfortable home and they move there. In this case, Imah still have a
reason to avoid a pregnant, she said that in this area, they have to follow the neighbor
celebrations which expense enough money. But Handoyo keep tried and because of his
diligent, honest, responsible in work, so that he appointed from a clerk be a Marketing Head.
Now, Rohimah didnt have any reason to refuse. Then Handoyo said to Rohimah that
if she kept didnt to get a pregnant, she have to choose between separate amicably or let him
to choose married with another woman. Handoyo now something wrong with his wife as he
saw the time when they visit Ita, she is Handoyos sister after birth. Once Ita wanted to go to
toilet, and her baby should to be held because it will cry if placed in a mattress. So, Ita given
it to Imah and her husband, because there were only them in this room. Her hand started
shaking and asked helping to hold the baby, because she almost slipped it of her hand.
Fortunately Handoyo caught it quickly and he said whats wrong Imah, then Imah sat on
the floor limply. Handoyo asked her what happened and she told him that she had seen the
terrible incident in her life. When she was a child, on the night with bad weather where sky
was closed by boarding clouds, rambling thunder and under the rain. Her mother took her and
her new born brother outside walked near of bridge. Then her mother covered the babys
mouth by tape, she strangled it slowly till it limp in her hand and threw it to the river with big
current then the bay far away quickly. She saw, how the innocent baby threw by her eyes and
it was make her trauma having a child. Handoyo tried to placate his wife that had limp and
took warm water for Rohima to drink. Handoyo did not it until Imah tell him the truth. Her
husband said Forget all the bitter past. I will accompany you under whatever conditions and
I will always protect you from your nightmare. Let's keep praying to God so we can be
delivered from evil. Rohimah dropped the pill from her hand.
