High Tea Party

The Kolkata Chapter of the MHRM Alumni Meet- HIGH TEA , an initiative taken
by the Alumni Committee of IISWBM, Kolkata . The chapter aimed at creating a
strong and lasting bond with the alumni as well as gaining crucial insights into the
industry from the current generation of young professionals .

Confab 14
CONFAB,the annual Alumni meet of the MHRM department took had the theme
"TRACING OUR ROOTS" --- a doorway to nostalgia, reminiscing memorable
experiences & sharing stories of success; most specially to renew our commitment
to the notable ideals of our Alma Mater.

Paradigm 14
It is a reunion celebrating the Alumni of the first B-school in India. It is a meet
where the alumni from MBA department gets to interact with the present students,
revisit their past experiences and share their success stories.Paradigm-14 took
place on 3rd January 2015.

Parichay
As the name suggests, Parichay was the official freshers welcome party held in
July. The day comprised performances by the senior batch, refreshments, food &
music.

Ummeed
Conducted by the entrepreneurial club of IISWBM, E-Cell, Ummeed encouraged
& promoted creative thinking. The event included a documentary making intercollege competition with the theme Kolkata- the city of joy followed by Khaae-Jaa where the students in small groups of 3 gave food stalls.

Guru-Kshetra
Conducted by the Alumni Committee of IISWBM, Guru-Kshetra came with the
tagline where the master meets apprentice. It was an interactive session between
the students in their 1st semester & noted alumni members, meant to help students
decide on their specialization.

Krida
The sports event of IISWBM comprising inter-departmental football match,
volleyball & kabaddi competition for boys & throwball competition for girls.

Navikaran
A day full of games, quizzes & competitions, conducted by the marketing club
(Verkoop), the finance club (Finvestic) & the HR club (Abhisharan) of IISWBM.
The day ended with refreshments for the students, prize distribution & a DJ night.

Insight

A panel discussion meant to give the students an insight on topics chosen from
different areas of marketing, finance, HR & Business Analytics. The session ended
with the Vice-president of Calcutta University visiting the campus & addressing
the students.

Teachers Day
The students of MBA & MHRM department jointly hosted the event,
comprising dance & song performances by the students, as a token of thanks
to the teachers who work towards the betterment of students all year long.
