First
Week of Promises
Sunday: God’s strength
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and His understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak. — Isaiah 40:28-29
Monday: Hope
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. — Isaiah 40:31
Tuesday: Faithfulness
I will sing of the Lord s great love forever;
with my mouth I will make Your faithfulness known through all generations.
I will declare that Your love stands firm forever, that You
established Your faithfulness in heaven itself. — Psalm 89:1-2
Wednesday: Salvation
But because of His great love for us, God, Who is rich in mercy, made us alive w
ith Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been
saved. — Ephesians 2:4-5
Thursday: Rest for weariness
Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take M
y yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you
will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
— Matthew 11:28-30
Friday: Peace
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be
evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in ever
ything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. A
nd the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts
and your minds in Christ Jesus.
— Philippians 4:4-7
Saturday: Praise Him
Praise the Lord, O my soul; All my inmost being, praise His holy name.
Praise the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits. — Psalm 103:1-2
Third Week of
Promises
Sunday: Trust
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He will make your paths straight. — Proverbs 3:5-6
Monday: Guidance
Show me Your ways, O Lord,
teach me Your paths;
guide me in Your truth and teach me,
for You are God my Savior,
and my hope is in You all day long.
Remember, O Lord, Your great mercy and love,
for they are from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth
and my rebellious ways;
according to Your love remember me,
for You are good, O Lord. —Psalm 25:4-7
Tuesday: Assurance
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that yo
u may know that you have eternal life. This is the assurance we have in approach
ing God; that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we k
now that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him.
— 1 John 5:13-15
Wednesday: Provision
Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him.
Fear the Lord, you His saints,
for those who fear Him lack nothing.
The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. — Psalm 34:8-10
Thursday: Peace
I will listen to what God the Lord will say;
He promises peace to His people, His saints —
but let them not return to folly.
Surely His salvation is near those who fear Him,
that His glory may dwell in our land.
Love and faithfulness meet together;
righteousness and peace kiss each other. — Psalm 85:8-10
Friday: Faithfulness
Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my go
spel, for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a crimina
l. But God’s word is not chained. Therefore I endure everything for the sake of
the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with
eternal glory. Here is a trustworthy saying:
