ABOUT THIS RECIPE


"This uses paprika as a base (no weird ingredients). I mixed a half batch of
this up to use in Tex-Mex Lasagna and it tasted great. From AHA's Low-Salt
Cookbook."

INGREDIENTS
3 tablespoons paprika
2 teaspoons finely crushed oregano
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder

DIRECTIONS
1.In a medium bowl, toss all ingredients gently with spoon until well blended.
2.Store in an airtight container in cool, dark, dry place for up to 6 months.
3.Use in place of packaged chili powder.
