The BAC concept of modular workplace design provides the most efficient means to construct
individual workplaces with complete flexibility.
High density storage drawers provide instant access to tools, spares and instruments, utilising
all space under the workbench. BAC modules keep the workplace clean, contamination-free
and keep tools and spares at the fingertips.
A well laid-out BAC Systems work area will stand out and contributes significantly to worker
satisfaction, tool control and safety requirements.
BAC Modular Systems offers quality of the highest standard, endorsed by Australian Design

BAC DRAWERS

BAC drawer storage plays a central role in all modern workplaces. Over the past 30 years, BAC
Systems has refined one of the most advanced drawer storage systems in the world, and is
accredited by Standards Australia. "This product forms a benchmark for Australian design."
(Industrial Design Council Australia)
BAC drawers are precision-engineered from high-yielding steel and run on bearings with
patented tracks and sideguards. All drawers have slotted sidewalls to accommodate partitions
and dividers for drawer subdivision. Drawerfloors are perforated to allow the fitting of partitioning
screws, drawerposts, toolbars and CNC containers (ref. pages B1.8-1.9). A full range of plastic
bins is available to fit various drawer sizes.
BAC drawers create a user-friendly workplace environment with unprecedented worker
satisfaction and improved productivity. They are complemented by BAC Modules with adjustable
shelves and separators for storage of larger parts and instruments. A free advisory service is
available for all layouts.

BAC MODULES - THE HEART OF THE WORKPLACE

A solid and secure storage module is an essential
component of each BAC workplace. The BAC "A" +
"M" and "B" + "J" series are designed with assembly
points to fit all workplace configurations. They offer
lockable storage for tools, parts and instruments
with easy access.
All modules are available in four distinctive heights:
720 Series = 720 mm for desktop height
840 Series = 840 mm for standard workplace height
1020 Series = 1020 mm for counter height
1200 Series = 1200 mm for display or island lecturing height

Drawers and partitioning for the modules are

selected to suit individual workplace needs:
adjustable partitions form compartments to store
handtools,
production
parts,
accessories,
instruments - even suspension files for manuals.
Larger items and instruments can be locked away in
a compartment fitted with a door and adjustable
shelves for quick access.

GET MOBILE
Mobile kits are fitted on BAC modules where
extra flexibility for jobs on-the-go is needed.
Any module can be adapted to become a
mobile workplace through the addition of a
mobile kit with a steeltray and rubber insert or a
stainless steel top.
Single drawer locks are an additional safety
feature, recommended for all mobile trolleys.
For mobile modules to fit beneath a BAC
workstation the B720 or L720 series are
recommended.

BAC TOOLTROLLEYS "L" SERIES

Mobile storage units play a central role in a well-organised workplace,
keeping tools and parts at hand and offering lockable storage on site.
All BAC modules can be fitted with mobile kits consisting of a set of
wheels (two swivel with brakes and two fixed), steel traytop and
handle. Also available are optional vice holders and single drawer
locks for each drawer.

in two depths (600 mm or 800 mm). Optional tool trolleys, series TL 720 (Ref. B 1.12), are designed to fit
beneath the workbench. For heavy-duty benches, use optional bracing 9 . Further options include fixed stands
2 , benchback 5 , a shelf under the bench 10 or a footrest 11 .

BAC STORAGE MODULES

B + J Series
Patents + Designs Reg.

BAC modules B + J Series are precision engineered and made

of heavy-gauge steel. The cover has four fixing points for fitting a
forklift attachment while the base has four adjustable levelling feet
to ensure stability on uneven floors.
All modules are fitted with a cylinder lock acting on all drawers.
This patented central locking system is available with masterkeying or keyed alike on request. Standard finish in BAC Beige.
Options include single drawer locks for each drawer, mobile kits
and tooltrays.

MOBILE KITS for A and M series

Mobile kits consist of a standard 'A' or 'M' series module up to 1200 mm high
enhanced with two fixed and two swivel wheels with brakes ( 125 mm
polyamide or rubber) and a stainless steel tray or steel tray with a rubber insert.
The addition of single drawer locks (spring-loaded safety catches) on all drawers
is highly recommended for added safety while mobile.

BAC PARTITIONS are constructed of

pressed steel, with slots to fit adjustable
dividers every 25 mm, providing maximum
versatility in drawer configurations.
