General Operating Guideline on A) Maximum Academic Load and B) 8 Courses Rules in Examination Regulations

Foundation programmes
A) Maximum Academic Load can be registered
in a semester:

Generally, academic load is subject to the prevailing of each


programme structure of the Faculty. The registration of
courses is subject to the Maximum Academic Workload
Allowed as stated in the UC Examination Rules and
Regulations of Bachelor Degree Programmes as well as the
Academic Workload Inclusion and Exclusion Rules as below:

The above rules for Bachelor and Diploma programmes would take effect from May 2015 academic year onwards (201505 session).
The above rules for Foundation programme would take effect from April 2015 academic year onwards (201504 session).
