The Faded Light

Once was a fading light

seen every night
It showed Gatsby the future
but it ended up as a torture

Gatsby has been in love

with a girl named Daisy
She is the one whom he always thinks of
while the others are just hazy

The light was always there

shining in front of her house
It seemed like its a death chair
since she already had a spouse

He was thinking its the past

so his dreams became unattainable
His secrets were revealed at last
and Daisy thought its too much of a gamble

The green light had faded

and Gatsby failed his endeavour
It has been a decade
but she will be loved forever
