Identify prerequisite
knowledge and skills.

Knowledge of Abraham, Sarah, and Jacob. Knowledge of Gods promises and faithfulness to them.

Tell students that I will read the story of


Isaac and Rebekah. While I read the story,
they can color their Bible bookmark one
color at a time according to the messages
in the story.
After the story is done, review the
memory work for the month.
Color with a yellow crayon when you hear
the name Abraham.
Color with a blue crayon when you hear
the name of Isaacs wife.
Color with a green crayon when you hear
someone trust in God.
Color with a red crayon when you hear
God being faithful

Students patiently wait to color each new


color and listen to the story carefully.
Together everyone says Genesis 1:25.
On the back, students will write one thing
they learned using their best guess at
spelling.
Students put bookmarks in their mailboxes
to go home.

Then the man bowed down and


worshiped the LORD, 27 saying, Praise be
to the LORD, the God of my master
Abraham, who has not abandoned his
kindness and faithfulness to my master.
