Mobile phones are good for education.

Mobile Phones are good for education for many reasons. First you can use cell phones for
research purposes. Although most schools have at least 1 computer in the classroom and a
computer lab, sometimes this still isnt enough. It can also be expensive to provide a computer to
each student at school, so a good option is to use mobile phones for research instead. Next, I
want to talk about why apps are good for education. Some people think that some apps are bad
and kids will get distracted and use them in class. And the truth is that mobile phones have many
educational apps as well. Which do you think would be more fun and exciting for a student?
Either studying with a boring book that is hard to understand, or playing an educational app that
is still studying, but much more exciting
Here are some good features of phones that are good for school:
1.Calculator. It doesnt matter if your phone is expensive or not, almost every single phone has a
calculator. Lots of students are required to have a calculator as one of their school supplies, but if
they have one on their phone, then they dont have to get one.
2. Stop Watch. Lots of phones have a stopwatch, which can be used in science class. I know that
when I was in public school we used stopwatches all the time for experiments, and the teacher
only had 3 stopwatches so we had to take turns.
3. Dictionary. Cell phones can be used as a dictionary, which can be VERY useful in a classroom
setting. You can always search on the Internet for the definition, or if you classroom or school
doesnt have wi fi, you can text to 466-456 the word you need defined and Google will text you
back the definition of that term.
And another important application tools even you can find in your play store if you have an
android smartphone in your hands

Believe it or not, a cell phone could save your life. Here is an example: On April 20, 1999, 2
teenagers walked into Columbine High school in USA carrying sub-machine guns and
homemade bombs intending to do some major damage. 13 innocent students were murdered and
many more would have been if it werent for some students and their cell phones. 1 student,
hiding for his life, calls 911 and describes the location of the school, and what the murderers
looked like. If it werent for him and his cell phone and many others, many other students would
have died. There are many other true stories like this one where peoples lives were saved
because of cell phones

We should have mobile phones in school, because;

1. If students ever forgot their textbooks, they could use their phone to study before the test
2. In case of emergency use, students can call the polices when students face school violence or
even contact their parents when something is charged
3. Students can tell their parents they arrived safely at school
4. Teachers can ask for pictures of their project or assignment
5. Having a phone can make their research capabilities bigger
6. If working in a group the students can text each other, or even the teacher, without disrupting
other students.
7. Is students want to get an answer quickly in class without interrupting everyone else, they
can quickly search the answer

8. If listening to music, or trying to listen to a famous speech, you can hear what it sounds like
so you have a better sense about what it is
9. Social media can be over-used, but students can use social media for sharing projects or ideas
10. It should be allowed to use mobile phones in schools as if there is any emergency case
parents can easily inform their children. It should not be allowed to use during lectures but
during break it should be allowed. And it also helps after school time as if the children have
any transport problem they can inform their parents. Other than this if they have to stay at
school after the school time is over for any type of preparation they can inform their parents.

1. Preparations for life; students must in a learning environment which simulates the real

Mobile phones are distractions, bad for the students because;
1. Kids can use them to cheat, which can result in faling that test. 1/3 of high school students
are caught cheating with their phones. The students use phones to take portions of exam and
give it to another class.
2. They can be distracting, like testing during class. 90 % of college students admitted to texting
during class
3. Application can be distracting for kids (students)
4. If a mobile phone rings, or even vibrated, it can stop the teachers thought process, along
with the whole class.
5. Students that are texting might miss something important that the teacher say
6. Beginning in march 2015 even the American students stand with the mobile phone ban.
7. Inappropriate, or not good for school, ads can show up
