relieve tension, stress in the classroom. Make connection for students between
regular physical activity, health and stress reduction
At the end students will be asked to introspect about their level of self control, and the effect of
the presence of others on their self control, and the homework can be given to explore the
strategies to improve self control.
Key Points:

Stress is the key reason for many health issues. Excessive stress disturbs the function of
organs and imbalances all hormonal systems. It also invites life-threatening diseases.

Dance helps you to get rid of stress as it boosts your self-confidence, increases social
interaction, and makes new friends. It also energizes and refreshes you. So, dance
regularly and let your worries just flow away!

It is the best exercise and work out option. It helps in increasing and building strength or
stamina to a high extent.

Activity 6. Responsibility towards your choices

Whatever consequences you face in your life (good or bad) are the end products of choices
made by you in the beginning. So start thinking about the consequences first before any
plan of action.
Make a general discussion in the class about the result they have got
recently and relate it with the kind of hard work they invested before. ( or
you can ask two or three students about their recent decisions and the
consequences)

Often we all have tendency to blame others in case of failures and take
credits for the success but actually we should have the courage to
confront with the failure. As it helps them to be independent, strong,
influential and visionary.
At the end relate with the life skills they have used during discussion.
Some of them can be self awareness, critical thinking and management of
stress, etc.

Activity 7. Rights with Responsibilities

Students will be asked to speak about their rights as a student or
son/daughter
(All the points should be line down on the black board)
After that they will be asked to speak out their responsibilities as a
student or son/daughter. Again writing them on the black board is must.
Now they will be asked to introspect and analyze about their demands and
supply ratio. Usually there should be balance between the two but if the
difference is more, than the situation of imbalance arises, which in turn
creates lots of problems like misunderstanding, lack of proper
communication, wrong impression, etc.
So we should think before we ask for something.

Activity 8. SWOT Analysis

Here every student will be asked to write down their strengths,
weaknesses, opportunities and threats

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER
Knowing what your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats are
puts you in a powerful position for action. The SWOT analysis is not action in
itself, but its a useful tool that helps you set goals, create a detailed career
plan and act on it.
Its actually OK to have weaknesses and threats in your working life, adds
Firth. This means you can take action to rectify things. If you dont, you may
find it more difficult to develop.

By doing this activity we are developing self awareness, critical

thinking, managing emotions and communication skills among
students.

Dear Teachers
This is to bring your notice that the following students (with
special needs would require) the extra attention and cooperation
from your end. This is an effort to bring them at par with the other
students. As per the norms of CBSE they have already exempted
the difficult subjects (maximum two) and given subjects like I.T
and painting.

Looking forward for the favorable response
