Over 30 years of experience with the energy industry (Power and Oil & Gas). In addition to
corporate level executive experience there is an additional 20 years of field operations history.

2003 to 2016

Overall responsibility for two company divisions and one joint venture that generate $75 million
per year and consisting of approximately 400 employees. Responsible for safety and fiscal
performance. Revenue growth within area of responsibility of approximately 100% since 2003.
Work performed by divisions include oil, gas and refinery related construction, operations and
maintenance support, transportation, logistics support, remote camp operations, heavy haul and
crane services drill rig moving and support, industrial tank and pipeline cleaning, and inspection
services.
Peak Oilfield Service Company, Engineering Manager, Anchorage, AK

1992 to 2003

Responsible for cost estimating and proposal development related to construction and
maintenance of refineries, petrochemical complexes, offshore production and exploration
platforms, onshore and offshore pipelines and oilfield heavy equipment fleets, mines, modular
construction, rigging, tank and pipeline cleaning, coded vessel modifications and repairs, and
environmental remediation. Contract values up to $200 million. Provided engineering support to
construction and maintenance operations for all profit centers and subsidiaries. Participated in
marketing and business plan development. Supervised a CAD and technical services group.
Peak Oilfield Service Company, Project Manager, North Slope, AK

1990 to 1992

Performed project management services during major facility expansion at the Milne Point Unit.
Expansion included installation of well tie-ins, flow lines, and production facility. Responsible for
all elements of project financial and safety performance. This project contributed to rapid growth
of Peak during this period.
Weeminuche Construction Authority, Project Engineer | Estimator, Towaoc, CO 1987 to 1990
Performed construction management and project engineering for an SBA 8A qualified general
contractor. Contract values ranged up to $15 million and included commercial, highway, sewer,
municipal water, heavy civil, and industrial projects. Performed fixed and unit price estimates,
scheduling (Primavera), subcontract development, procurement, and work execution plans and
procedures.

1986 to 1987
Purchased a retail business and worked full-time until business startup was complete.
HNG-InterNorth, Owners Representative | Chief Inspector, Penuelas, Puerto Rico 1986
Represented owner during construction and startup of a cryogenic LPG ship unloading, storage
and truck loading facility. Responsible for construction management, field engineering, quality
control, progress and cost reporting, start-up and commissioning. This project was an in-house
design, procure and construct project that maximized re-use of an existing facility and required
close coordination between owner/ engineer and contractors.

InterNorth, Owners Representative | Chief Inspector, Omaha, NE

1983 to 1985

Represented owner during construction through occupancy certification of a $30 million corporate
headquarters complex. Responsible for construction management and coordination of four
general contractors. Supervised an onsite staff of engineers and quality control personnel.
Provided interface between architects, engineers, contractors and owner.
Northern Border Pipeline Company, Chief Construction Engineer, Omaha, NE 1980 to1983
A senior construction management team member responsible for developing and implementing a
construction engineering quality control program for surveying, pipeline screw anchors, ditching
and backfill, protective coatings, as-builts, pressure testing and cathodic protection. This program
was developed in support of a natural gas pipeline project consisting of 810 miles of 42-inch
diameter pipe and related facilities built through five states and across three major river crossings
by approximately fifty contractors. Responsible for providing an interface between design
engineering and construction. This was an in-house design, procure and construct project.
InterNorth, Project Manager, Omaha, NE
1979 to 1980
Represented owner as project manager to supervise design, construction and commissioning of a
$75 million underground natural gas storage facility in central Kansas. This facility covered an
area of approximately 50 square miles and consisted of ten gas compression units, fifty gas
injection-withdrawal wells, well head liquid separation units, liquid treatment and truck loading
facility, central control room, and related pipelines. This was an in-house design, procure and
construct project.
Northern Natural Gas Company, Omaha, NE
1976 to 1979
Represented owner as onsite representative | chief inspector and construction manager.
Assignments during this period included projects located in Illinois and Louisiana, and included
offshore platforms, sub-sea and onshore pipelines, natural gas compressor stations and liquid
fuel terminal facilities. These were design, procure and construct projects.
J.A. Jones Construction Company, Chief Field Engineer, South Haven, MI
1974 to 1976
Responsible for supervision and field engineering related to civil, structural, mechanical, HVAC
and instrumentation performed during retrofits, new construction and scheduled maintenance of
an operating nuclear generating plant.
J.A. Jones Construction Company, Field / Office Engineer, Somerset, MA
1972 to 1974
Responsible for field engineering in support of civil and structural work during new construction
and modifications of a fossil fuel generating plant complex.
