Jake IIX, did not start out as the Gnome with The
Gnome with no Name instead Xalbar begin life as
the twelfth son of the Xalwor (Fill in names here).
His prospects for life were a bit small to start, as
being the twelfth son he could not look into much in
the way of inheritance. His older brothers also
picked on him for being short for a Gnome, a puny
211 this lead him to a shut in existence. He started
reading to avoid lifes problems he became a great
scholar in grade school then ran across a novel
series written about a crazy place known as the
Wild Wild West, and his favorite character to follow
Flint Eastmarsh. He stumbled through his last years
of schooling because of this book addiction. Then
seeing his son floundering his father Xalvor got his
youngest son a job for a merchant friend, as having
a wizard on staff would deter thieves.
At this stage in his story let me just say Xalbar
was just a bit too enthusiastic about his books, and
a too stupid to realize he had a job. One night when
he was on patrol he made the mistake of bringing
the newest book of Flint Eastwoods adventures,
issue 22. So picture this a young gnome sitting back
on two legs of a chair nose deep a penny novel
ignoring his surrounds. A thief came a nocking,
actually feel through a window, bounced off several
crates and knocking over a bell. Xalbar did not even
move, the enterprising thief then ransacked the
building. In the morning the merchant arrived finding
his building completely robbed his guard still
reading a book. This all ended in Xalbar being
exiled from the gnome hold, his family disowning
him and being disgraced by his clan.
Suffering from being cast out from his home,
and knowing nothing from the outside world he
suffered a shattering of the psyche and The
Gnome with No Name was born to spare his mind
from his disgraces. A proud gunslinger wandering
the land bring law to the lawless! (Yea the cheesiest
thing around)
