Type of Organization/ setting up:


After we finish the regular morning routine. I will set with children in their chairs to do
the aural revision. Children will be in groups form to do the differentiation activities.

Introduction (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration


of small group activities)
In the beginning, I am going to start my morning routine with them. It does
not carry a huge amount of changing. I will include a good morning song,
singing My Favorite Food song that everybody knew it from my MST. Then, I
will ask: who is the little teacher? to know what today is? In which season

Time: around 10 minutes Small

Active Engagement (group working with the teacher):


I will explain to the children the group or the main activity. I will draw on
the white board a big basket. I will say: Horsey bought many types of
food today. I want you to draw the food she bought. For example, Horsey
bought three pieces of mangos. One, two and three.. I will say: what
Horsey bought, and you will draw it. But first, I want to see the calm
finger..
Note:
The calm finger is a strategy I used in the previous semester to help
me in controlling on the classroom. This routine does not carry a huge
amount of changing not to let the pupils feel confused.
I will make them set in lines to see the Power Point closer, clearly and
to let the pupils feel of some transition. The first part of the lesson, on
the floor, while the second part of the lesson, in their groups to do the
differentiation activities.

The children are going to do:

the teacher.

The third step: I will explain to them the differentiation activities. I will
illustrate the activities in front of them also do an example in front of
them. Then I will call by the names to go their right places to do the
suitable activities to their mental abilities. During that, I will monitor and
assist them.

Children who are in the enrichment group level will draw their meals. Each
child will pick one word from the words basket to match it with one of food
they know in their favourite meal.

For the low-level group:
Each child in this group will have a picture of certain food with it is named.
Each child will circle the first, the last letter and tell me what this food is and
what are these two letters.

Pupils will define the first and the last letter in the word they have by
circling it.
Pupils will name the food in the picture.

Closing:
During their independent activities, I will go around to monitor and assist the
pupils. After they finished the activities, I will ask each group to put their

up, everybody cleans up.

Since it was my first trail, it was good. It needs some modifications. My
English MST liked it and the children were very good in participating and
doing the independent activities.

Who is the lesson for? Kinder garden pupils, the second level.
Where did the lesson take place? In English Language. Literacy. It will be
a revision for the units vocabulary.
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson? To review, train and
enhance childrens background about this unit.
What did the students do?
Students will ask, answer and draw during the group activity.
Students will do the differentiation activities.
Students will clean up.

Why do you think the students responded the way that they did?
Because it was the first time I taught them and they were good, engaged
with during the whole lesson.
How well did your teaching relate to the students prior
understanding? First, before planning for the lesson, I look and read the
book, the unit, the learning outcomes and what they are going to learn in this
unit. Second, I asked my MST about what the children are going to take in
this day? Third, I made this lesson as a review for the favorite food lesson and
unit according to what their Englishs book contains in this unit.
How well did you engage the students?
By using Mr. Horsey puppet.

I think children liked it and they did very well in the activities.
