Set Induction 1-2 Minute(s)

Today, we will be continuing our lesson in health and fitness. Can one student raise their hand and remind
me and the class why health is important? Can one student raise their hand and remind me and the class
why fitness is important?
Very similar to Monday, we are going to be doing stations, but there will only be two, not four. What I
thought everyone did well in last time was balance and dynamic stretching. At these stations, there will be
written instructions with pictures as to what I would like you to do. After I split you up, I want you to go to
your station and sit down. DO NOT TOUCH the papers that are at your station. If I see torn up or ripped
paper, we will come back to the middle and start over. Understand? Here we go!
Purpose:
Students will continue to develop their skills in yoga as well as dynamic stretching.
Start/Stop Signals: Hand up in the air to count down (this makes students put hands up and have
eyes on me by the time I count down to one).
Grouping Strategies: Random.
