Style of Instruction
Our small group classes are designed to improve listening and conversation skills based on daily
and real-life situations. There are also audio and video materials to make every lesson interesting
and enjoyable. Class size ranges from 5 to 8 students to maximize individual participation.
Teachers
Our teachers are native-speaker graduates with internationally recognized teaching qualifications
(University Of Beijing). As professional educators, they have had teaching experience in HK and
Asia. We conduct continual staff training to ensure students receive the best service. You may
choose your preference when you enroll for private lessons.
Course Details
We have varied Chinese courses from Beginner to Advanced (8 levels), designed for different
interests and skills. After the initial placement interview (free), we will advise the appropriate
classes and level for your needs and ability. Our program will include different skill-based classes:
Daytime Mandarin
These classes focus on general skills that target speaking and listening. You will follow Beijing
University texts plus additional materials including audio-visual lessons. There will be self-study
tasks for grammar, reading & writing improvement
These classes cover reading & writing skills. You will have the option to study Chinese characters
Hanzi (
) or improve your Pinyin (Romanized system for Chinese). Lessons will focus on
functional study and include guidance on accurate pronunciation and intonation.
HSK
The Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) is China's national standardized test designed and developed
by the HSK Center of Beijing Language and Culture University to assess the Chinese language
proficiency of non-native speakers (including foreigners, overseas Chinese and students from
Chinese national minorities). For students entering or achieving Level 4 of our Intensive Chinese
course, you may select this option to prepare for the exam

preparation etc, we offer the option to study 1:1 lessons as part of your course. You may change
any 3 hours of your group classes for 1 hour of 1:1 study with a flexible schedule
