1. Briefly describe the field experience. What did you learn about technology coaching and technology leadership from completing this field
experience?
This field experience provided me an opportunity to get hands on experience with some of the audio and visual software available for students with ELL.
Students met with the ELL small group teacher weekly. The programs offered audio and visual experiences for students to help perfect vocabulary.

2. How did this learning relate to the knowledge (what must you know), skills (what must you be able to do) and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs,
enthusiasm) required of a technology facilitator or technology leader? (Refer to the standards you selected above. Use the language of the PSC
standards in your answer and reflect on all 3knowledge, skills, and dispositions.)
Knowledge I need to be able to identify student special level of English and supported needed.

Skills I needed to be able to create a lesson that was sheltered and assisted students in the classroom that was ELL students.

Dispositions The technology within the classroom that assisted students needed to be used with fidelity to be effective. Students felt a part of the
class and believed that they could achieve. Delivering a lesson to a class with ELL learners is quite difficulty; however, the attitude and behavior of
the teachers is important so that students can excel.

3. Describe how this field experience impacted school improvement, faculty development or student learning at your school. How can the impact be
assessed? I would like to further explore resources out there available to not only for ELL students, but also I would like to explore more tools for
students with disability. I know in our school the area in which we suffer on our statewide evaluations is our subgroups. I do believe that the
research and experience has given me a broader view of how to teach ELL students and reasons why students lack quality instruction.
