Consider this question: What will people nee d to either
survive or perhaps use as a luxury item in the year 3000?
Use this question as a starting point in researching what you want
to create and market as a product or service. House that will keep
people from dying from heat and pollution.
Visit the site: http://www.bbc.com/earth/story/20141016-your-life-onearth
Look at how much has changed in the world in just the time you have been
alive.
How much different will our world be in roughly 1000 years?
Look at how current political and global climates are changing. In a few
hundred years,
what will they be like? What will the earth be/look like?
Below, describe what your imaged future would be like. BE
SPECIFIC.
(Is it a wasteland, a utopia, a technologically enhanced world where people
are more
machine than human?)
In the future, the heat from the sun will be too intense for people to be
expose for a long time. There will also be massive amount of pollution coming
from the air because of industrial factory and other chain companies.
What product are you creating that can only exist in the year 3000?
Write what
that product is and how it works/what it does below:
The product will be an underground house that will give protection for people
and provide resources to the ones who are living in it.

Who is your product intended for? How will your market it (type of
imagery/type of ad)?
(For example: the target is the teen demographic. The marketing would
involve imagery
that appeals to a younger generation. This imagery would be more playful.
Also, how
the imagery is shown (what media is used) is be integral. Perhaps the ads
are
shown via gigantic interactive projections on the sides of buildings near
schools).
The target is families or home hunters. The advertisement will show how the house
functions and the devices it uses to keep people safe. It will appeal to people who
lives in areas where there is drought or extreme heat. It will also attract people that
are living in places where there is a lot of pollution.
Project #4 Goal:
The goal for project four is to use illustration to create a
neat and clean advertisement for house building
companies to use. With my current skill in illustrator, I am
hoping to create an image that is more advance than a
beginners product.

Designing a logo:
As you move to create your logo, you must first pre-visualize
how your logo will look and how this look will represent your
product. Will your product itself be visually represented in your
logo?
Your logo design must be well thought out and
carefully crafted. (DO NOT RUSH THIS)
Your logo should be designed so that it fits with your target demographic
(who you want to buy your product).
Before you draw your logo, list three adjectives that describe
your product: For example: (strong, honest, upstanding) or
(whimsical, playful, exciting) Your word choices should represent
aspects that your consumer base values.
1. Safe
2. Livable
3. Below
Look to other existing logos for inspiration. YOU ARE NOT COPYING A
PRE-EXISTING LOGO. You should look at logos of companies and
products similar to the one you are creating. (Again, look at your
target demographic)
For inspiration, go to: http://www.logogala.com/ or
www.logomoose.com
One of the sketches must include a visual of your product in the logo
itself
Sketch your logo:
Write out your three selected adjectives before your begin to sketch:
1._____Safe_____________________________
2.______Liveble_______________________
3._______Below___________________________
Keeps those words at the front of your mind as you begin. Create at least
three logos.
