(B) Detail of Inspection Activity: 1. Identification and Marking visually checked for Pipe sections, packed inside corrugated box for protection &
found acceptable as per specification.
2. Sample were selected randomly as per relevant specification.
3. Visual, Dimensional & Bulk density check witnessed on selected samples and found acceptable.
4. Recovery after compressions, Linear shrinkage, compressive strength, shot content, Incombustibility,
Sulpher content, Alkalinity witnessed on 14.07.2016 at manufacturer laboratory at Bhilai and the result found
within specified limits as per Material specification and EIL specification.
5. Chloride content tests witnessed on 15.07.2016 at manufacturer laboratory at Bhilai and found acceptable as
per QAP, Material Specification and EIL Specification.
