Trisha was feeling excited but unsure about her planned experience working at a public market in Silang, Cavite. She had never worked in a public market before and rarely visited them. The night before, she contemplated canceling due to her uncertainty. In the morning, she forced herself out of bed to get ready, though she was exhausted from lack of sleep. Her jeepney ride took longer than expected, stopping to pick up more passengers, so she worried about being late to her destination.

My Experience in a Public Market in Silang, Cavite
Part I: My Experience The excitement I was feeling at this moment seemed almost surreal. I felt as though I was about to burst as I sat there in my room, by myself, wondering what to expect. I mean, I never worked in a Public Market. I seldomly actually go to a Public Market too. The night before the planned date, August 2, 2015, I was contemplating whether to push through or not. I was really really unsure about the Public Market thing. As soon as I told my mom about our plan in Public Market, she asked me Sure ka ba dyan? Palengke yan. Madaming tao tapos Sunday pa kayo pupunta. Ikaw pa naman si ano haha. I just told here I had no choice, cest la vie. Morning of August 2, I literally had to forced myself to get out of the bed and prepare myself. Its not the Im not looking forward to it, its just that I was exhausted since I havent had a lot of sleep lately. Choosing the simplest shirt and jeans that I have, I bid goodbye and rushed outside. I was confident that Im not gonna be late since theres no traffic every morning, usually it takes 30 minutes to get there, but the jeepney stopped at Yazaki waiting for pasaheros to fill the jeep. Im not even halfway down to my destination!
