Control Measure

No alcohol allowed on set at any times, any

crew or cast suspected of intoxication will be
removed from set. All food and drink will be
supplied by the producer.
Any spillages will be cleaned up immediately.
Ensure that there is adequate crowd control
to avoid onlookers encroaching on the set
and distracting the crew / actress and causing
potential injury.
It is the responsibility of all crew members
and performer to be aware at all times of the
environment and public presence. Due care
and attention will be taken with regard to
cables, lighting and camera equipment and
any other trip hazards that may cause an
obstruction or obstacle to any member of
the public. All trailing cables should be
matted or taped or ramped where necessary.
Local police and council have been notified.
High visibility jackets will be worn by crew if
filming near roads and public highways.
Ensure film set is positioned far enough away
from passers-by and ensure there are no
obstacles, obstructions or hazards that could
cause injury. Ensure children do not have
access to the film set during filming.

Make sure the environment is quiet to allow

effective communication between the crew
and artist.

Ensure all equipment is safe, secure and fully

charged to maximise the opportunity for
filming. If possible, take second battery as
back-up. Ensure volume of sound equipment
is sufficient to enable the actress to hear
amongst any ambient sound in the
background but no too loud so to create a
nuisance or disturbance.

Adequate rehearsal and instruction required.

All cast and crew to be aware of the action.

Ensure the site being used is free of any

obvious hazardous objects before setting up
the crew and actress are allowed to enter
the site and before setting up equipment.
Ensure sufficiently qualified first aider on site
and a fully equipped first aid box.
In the event of extreme temperatures,
ensure the crew and actress have
appropriate clothing, access to shelter/shade,
have access to food and refreshments.
All cast and crew will be given the
appropriate breaks throughout the day. All
crew and actresses when working or
performing will be asked not to exert
themselves so as to cause illness or injury.
Any actresses required to do any additional
performance will be checked prior to filming
if they are fit for purpose and will be given
adequate rehearsal time prior to filming.
Ensure all electrical equipment is kept a safe
distance from the water. Under no
circumstances allow the crew and actress to
enter the water if no lifeguard is present.
Ensure the time of high tide is known.
