Students who cannot stand to complete the instant activity will be assisted by the teacher
Students who cannot pour seed carefully into bottles or tie knots correctly during the bird feeder activity will
be assisted by the teacher.

Procedures:
Students will be given a piece of trash that they will have to place
into hula hoops at the front of class representing different things
(Green: Recycle, Blue: Reuse, Red: Trash)
Transition: Instructors tell students to get out a writing utensil and handout
Culminating Activity

Students will revisit instant activity to move items into different hula
hoops after gaining a better understanding of reducing, reusing, and
recycling and reflect on ways they can use the items in the hoops
