Prior Knowledge:

Will start the lesson by a quick revision about what they learnt in the previous
lessons. And well play the usual game (Show me number 5 by your fingers)

Questions will be asked: can you show me number .. ? what is this number? How we
could write number ?
Warm up activity: They will be brought on the carpet. And the teacher will explain
on the small board in front of them.
Key words: Numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7), Shapes (Triangle, heart .. etc)

Lesson objectives:

Students will be able to count till 7

Students will fully understand the number, so they will be able to answer and
complete the activities

Students will be able to write 7.

By the end of the lesson

Students will be able to count till 5 and recognize the word Five
Linking my lesson with Blooms Taxonomy :
1. Remember: Students will recall some of the information for example, the
shapes name, the numbers and the letters.
2. Understand: Students will understand number 7 and everything related to it.
3. Apply: Students will be able to apply and give examples of number 7
4. Analyze: Students will be able to differentiate between the previous numbers
and number 7.
5. Evaluate: Students will be assessed on their understanding of the number.
Moreover, they will be evaluated individually and in groups, while working.
6. Create: Teacher will give the students instructions to let them think and create
something have 7 things.
Attitudes:

Referring to the everyday routine, students will be remind of the rules of the class
when needed. Such as:

When someone is talking, everybody should listen.

Students should return everything back
Students should leave and the class will be as it was

Skills:

Listening: They will listen to the teachers explanation. Theyll listen to each
other.
Speaking: They will speak to each other during the activities. And they will
respond to the teacher
Writing: Theyll write on the board. They will write in the last phase of the lesson
on a worksheet.

Evaluation / Assessment:
Phase 1: Teacher will assess them while theyre on the mat. Teacher will see their

responding and participating.


Phase 2: Teacher will ask questions to assess them.
Phase 3: Teacher will be monitoring them while theyre working on the task given.
Teacher will see if they will need a help or they will be expert in it.
Personal focus (PDP)
In this lesson Ill be working on the three areas of my PDP.
Voice level and intonation
I will be changing my voice level during the lesson, and I will use intonation when
needed. For example: in the begging of the class to start my lesson my voice will be
high to grab the students attention and to let them settle down. But, my voice
intonation will be in different level to encourage the students and let them be
motivated. For example, I will whisper, and talk in different tones.
Time management and organization Pace of the lesson
For timing the activity for them, I will set an alarm for them. So, they know the time
and how much is left. In addition, for organization I will be organizing them and
organize the transitions between the activities for them.
Feedback
In this lesson I will only focus on the non-verbal, and the verbal feedback. So, that
types of feedbacks I will clearly give them to manage their behavior, to motivate
them, or either to improve or to correct them.
Teaching Competencies focus
In this session Im focusing on Implementing and Managing Learning, which will
be in managing the students transitions between the activities. So, teacher will call
them group by group. Eg: teacher will say The quite group will come and sit on the
carpet first, and then the others on a hand, it will manages their behavior. On the
other hand, there will be a strategy in their movement and transitions. Plus, Ill give
them a clear instructions about the activities. Moreover, I will model for them once,
or twice if needed.
Monitoring, Assessment and Evaluation
For a formative assessment, I will be monitoring them while theyre working and
responding. Moreover, my phases will be built on scaffolding the students, so theyll
get the support that needed to be assessed after it.

Teaching strategies:
So, in here teacher will use the VAK learning style also.
Visual: When the teacher will explain in front of them and showing them examples
Auditory: While the teaching happening. While giving them the instructions
Kinesthetic: While theyre playing. (During the activities)

Classroom management strategies:


1. Greeting the students
2. The day of today and the date.
3. Ask the students about their readiness
4. A quick revision
5. Ask the students to sit in the mat group by group.
6. Students will be listening to the song, and singing if possible.
7. Teacher will pause the song and ask the students questions while singing.

Behavioral management strategies: debating on my PDP and my Research


method, I will be using feedback to manage their behavior and their level of
understanding. Moreover, I will be using my classroom rules, and I will remind them
by the rules. Lastly I will use my phrases such as Eyes on me.
Feedback strategies: will be using two types of feedback as I mentioned before
(see Personal Focus 3) verbal and non-verbal feedback. Which will manage their
behavior, and will improve their learning and understanding.
