Description of Activity

Opening day of Summer

school. Assisted with
transportation passes, placing
students, room assignments,
dismissal, lunch duty and
paperwork.

This was a very busy

day and it was
difficult to place
many students due
to many of the
students not showing
up or being placed
incorrectly.
However, it was a
very good
experience to see
how the summer
school works.
This was interesting
to be a participant
with an
administrative eye as
opposed to a
teacher. After each
participant we
debriefed and
discussed the
responses and
seemed to be on the
same page.
This gave me a great
opportunity to see
how the
management of
being an
administrator. I
found I was able to
problem-solve and
make decisions
quickly.

submitted to our
downtown office then
it is sent to the state.
This required me to
include all the
professional
developments that
we have done
through the year and
to summarize these
according to our
original DTSDE.
This is the 2nd annual
institute and I was part of
planning and presenting
last year. We are bringing
in new presenters, and I
am presenting so we are
excited about it!
I had only 2 days to
meet the deadline
for all these
documents! This was
good experience how
I may be faced with
this as a leader and
it is important to
prioritize and meet
deadlines.
We accomplished a
lot and we feel
ahead of where we
were last year.
I am the chair of this
event and I really
enjoy collaborating
with the other staff
to put on a great
event. I have also

Reflection

Hours

This was a very

interesting process.
We gave the
candidates a writing
piece, and role
playing as well. It was
a challenging
interview.
Summer school has
seemed to settle in
and the students are
responding to the
behavior
management.
This was a good
meeting, but Im a
little confused as to
how Im approaching
this. This will be a
very challenging and
time consuming
endeavor.
I am very excited to
present during our 2
day conference.

Worked with the

principal to finalize
the master schedule.
This is a very difficult
task!!
This was a very long
day but I felt
accomplished!
I was very surprised
most of the junior
high came and we
discussed our
incoming students
and their needs.
My principal really
trusts me and is at the
point where she asks
me to do a task and
lets me go with it.
This was a very
difficult decision,
however, they value
my input.
I do enjoy presenting
to the rest of the
faculty and
researching best
practices.
This ran very
smoothly. I was
running around very
early in the morning
getting all the
technology up and
running but it was
worth all the work.

resonated with most.
This was the final

I have a great team
and its all coming
together.
I worked with the
administrators to
come up with a lesson

teachers can use this

I worked on writing all
the narratives for the

to meet a certain
deadline so this was a
lot of work!
Worked with the AP to
design a parent

I worked with all the

afterschool program

year.
I was lucky enough to
have the opportunity
to join this 2 day
conference with the
other administrators
in BPS. I was able to
go to many inservices that focused
on things such as
APPR, evaluating
teachers, and infusing
technology.
Another day of
collegial collaboration.
I was able to meet
many people and
network as well.
This event was a huge
success! I was very
happy with how it
turned out and a
district person
attended and said it
was the best in the
entire district of
Buffalo! We had over
300 people in
attendance and many
new families as well.
Had a meeting with all
the workers that plan
on working the

expectations,

procedures. I am
