OBJECTIVES
At the end of the session, at least 75% proficiency levels of the students are expected to:
a. define what is good delivery and how to achieve it;
b. identify the methods of delivering a speech;
c. perform differentiated task relating in delivering a speech; and
d. value the importance of delivering a speech.

STRATEGY
A. Activity
1. The class will be group into four and play the game Something in my Wallet.
2. Each group will choose their representatives to elaborate what are the things inside their
wallet.
3. They will be given only 1 minute to elaborate.
4. The group who can elaborate properly and clearly will gain 5 points and to the other
groups will gain 3 points.
B. Analysis
- The teacher will ask this questions:
Is it easy to elaborate and describe the things inside your wallet?
Based on our activity, what do you think is our topic for this session?
Now, how do you think are we able to deliver a good speech?
C. Abstraction
- The teacher will introduce the topic Delivery.
- With the same group, the teacher will show meaning through PowerPoint presentation.
- The student will identify the meaning to their corresponding words by choosing out from the
choices presented.
- The first group who can identify first has the chance to choose one representative to other
group to explain the meaning.
- The teacher will give further explanation to each subtopic.
D. Application
The students should perform differentiated tasks.
Group 1 Act out a scene relating to a talk show.
Group 2 Make a scene of a news reporting.
Group 3 Make a congratulatory speech.
Group 4 Act out a role play that shows speech delivery.
Every group will be graded based on the criteria below.
