LITURGY OF THE WORD
FIRST READING
May God bring us to old age together.
Joanna: A reading from the book of Tobit (8:5-7).
On the wedding night Sarah got up, and she and Tobias started to pray and beg that deliverance might be theirs. He began
with these words: Blessed are you, O God of our fathers; praised be your name forever and ever. Let the heavens and all
your creation praise you forever. You made Adam and you gave him his wife Eve to be his help and support; and from
these two the human race descended. You said, It is not good for the man to be alone; let us make him a partner like
himself. Now, Lord, you know that I take this wife of mine not because of lust, but for a noble purpose. Call down your
mercy on me and on her, and allow us to live together to a happy old age.
This is the Word of the Lord.
All:
Thanks be to God.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Lead Me Lord
(Arnel de Pano)
SECOND READING
Above all have love, which is the bond of perfection.
Lorelie: A reading from the letter of Paul to the Colossians (3:12-17).
Because you are Gods chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with heartfelt mercy, with kindness, humility,
meekness, and patience. Bear with one another; forgive whatever grievance you have against one another. Forgive as the
Lord has forgiven you. Over all these virtues put on love, which binds the rest together and makes them perfect. Christs

peace must reign in your hearts, since as members of the one body you have been called to that peace. Dedicate
yourselves to thankfulness. Let the word of Christ, rich as it is, dwell in you. In wisdom made perfect, instruct and
admonish one another. Sing gracefully to God from your hearts in psalms, hymns, and inspired songs. Whatever you do,
whether in speech or in action, do it in the name of the Lord Jesus. Give thanks to God the Father through him.
This is the Word of the Lord.
All:
Thanks be to God.
(PLEASE RISE FOR THE GOSPEL ACCLAMTION)
ALLELUIA
Word of God enthroned,
Dwell in us forever more.
Love has come to show the way
Hallelujah! Peace be with us.
Love has come to show the way.
THE GOSPEL
Father:
Alleluia, alleluia. If we love one another, God will live in us in perfect love.
All:
Alleluia.
Father:
Almighty God, cleanse my heart and my lips that I may worthily proclaim your gospel.
Father:
The Lord be with you.
All:
And also with you.
Father: A reading form the holy gospel according to John (15:9-12).
All:
Glory, to you, O Lord.
Jesus said to his disciples: As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you. Live on in my love. You will live in my love
if you keep my commandments, even as I have kept my Fathers commandments, and live in his love. All this I tell you
that my joy may be yours and your joy may be complete. This is my commandments: love one another as I have loved
you.
Father:
This is the Gospel of the Lord.
All:
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
Father:
May the words of the gospel wipe away our sins.

LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST

human hands have made. It will become for us the bread of life.

Blessed be God forever.

may the Lord accept the sacrifice at Your hands for the praise and glory of His name, for our hood, and the good of all his
Church.
(PLEASE RISE)
Father:
Lord, hear our prayers and accept the gifts we offer for Armand and Becky. Today You have made them one in the
Sacrament of Marriage. May the mystery of Christs unselfish love, which we celebrate in this Eucharist, increase their for
You and for each other. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
All:

EUCHARISTIC PRAYER
Father:
The Lord be with you.
All:
And also with you.
Father:
Lift up your hearts.
All:
We lift them up to the lord.
Father:
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
All:
It is right to give Him thanks and praise.
Father:
Father, all-powerful and ever-living God, we do well always and everywhere to give You thanks. You created man in love
to share Your divine life. We see His high destiny in the love of husband and wife, which bears an imprint of Your own
divine love. Love is mans origin, love is his constant calling, love is his fulfillment in heaven. The love of man and
woman is made holy in the Sacrament of Marriage, and becomes the mirror of Your everlasting love. Through Christ the

choirs of angels and all the saints praise and worship Your glory. May our voices blend with theirs as we join in their
unending hymn of praise:
All (to be sung):
Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might. Heaven and earth are full of Your glory. Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in
the highest. Blessed os he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna in the highest.
(PLEASE KNEEL)
LAYING OF THE VEIL AND CORD
Father:
May we request Glenn and Jacqueline to please come forward and lay the veil on Armand and Becky.
The veil on Armand and Becky from all harm. Lord, keep their hearts chaste and pure and guide them to live their lives in
fidelity and oneness of heart and mind. May they guided by the example of Joseph and Marys love and care for each
other.
Blessed Mary, we ask you to watch over your children under your mantle of protection.
May we request Richard and Jennifer to please come forward with the cord.
The conjugal cord binds their union, a bond of love in the arms of our Lord. May it remind them to face lives
courageously and to be a support to each other in carrying out their responsibilities as husband and wife and may nothing
ever come between them to break sacrament oneness.
Lord, as a symbol of unity by this cord, guide Armand and Becky to grow together in faith and in love form this day
forward.
Lord, You are holy indeed, the fountain of all holiness. Let Your Spirit come upon these gifts to make them holy, so that
they may become for us the body and blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Before he was given up to death, a death he freely accepted, He took the bread and gave you thanks. He broke the bread,
gave it to his disciples, and said:

Take this, all of you, and eat it.

This is my body which will be given up for you.

When supper was ended, He took the cup. Again He gave you thanks and praise, gave the cup to his disciples, and said:
Take this, all of you, and drink from it. This is the cup
of my blood. The blood of the new and everlasting
covenant. It will be shed for you and for all so that
sins may be forgiven. Do this in memory of me.
Let us proclaim the mystery of faith:
All (to be sung):
Lord by Your cross and resurrection, you have set us free. You are the Saviour of the world.

Father:
In memory of his death and resurrection, we offer you, Father, this life-giving bread, this saving cup. We thank You for
counting us worthy to stand in Your presence and serve You. May all of us who share in the body and blood of Christ be
brought together in unity by the Holy Spirit.
Lord, remember your Church throughout the world; make us grow in love, together with John Paul our Pope, our
Archbishop Exner, his assistant Bishops and all the clergy.
Remember our brothers and sisters who have gone to their rest in the hope of rising again; bring them and all the departed
into the light of Your presence.
Have mercy on us all; make us worthy to share eternal life with Mary, the Virgin mother of God, with Joseph her husband,
the apostles, and with all the saints who have done Your will throughout the ages. May we praise You in union with them,
and give You glory through your Son, Jesus Christ.
Through him, with him, in him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is Yours, Almighty Father, forever and
ever.
All (to be sung):
Amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, we do believe!
(PLEASE RISE)
COMMUNION RITE
Father:
Let us pray with confidence to the Father in the words our Savior gave us.
All (to be sung):
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Father:
Deliver us Lord, from every evil and grant us peace in our days. In Your mercy, keep us free from sin and protect us from
all anxiety, as we wait in joyful hope for the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
All (to be sung):
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
NUPTIAL BLESSING
Father:
Let us pray to the Lord for Armand and Becky who come to Gods altar at the beginning of their married life so that they
may always be united in love for each other as now they share in the body and blood of Christ.
Holy Father, you created mankind in your own image and made man and woman to be joined as husband and wife in
union of body and heart and so fulfill their mission in this world.
Father, to reveal the plan of Your love, You made the union of husband and wife an image of the covenant between You
and your people.
In the fulfillment of this sacrament, the marriage of Christian man and woman is a sign of the marriage between Christ
and the Church. Father, stretch out Your hand, and bless Armand and Becky.

Lord, grant that as they begin to live this sacrament they may share with each other the gifts of Your love and become one
in heart and mind as witnesses to Your presence in their marriage. Help them to create a home together and give them
children to be formed by the gospel and to have a place in your family.
Give Your blessings to Becky, Your daughter, so that she may be a good wife and mother, caring for the home, faithful in
love for her husband, generous and kind. Give Your blessings to Mark, Your son, so that he may be a faithful husband and
a good father. Father, grant that as they come together to Your table on earth
