UCM 60202U2 ASSESSMENT BRIEF

SCIENTIFIC POSTER
Students are required to form pairs of two (2). In your respective pair, you are required to present
your literature search in a specific presentation format (scientific poster design). Each pair is to
come up with ONE scientific poster based on a selected literature topic that is relevant to the
main theme provided in the next section.
The assessment marks will be shared by all group members for scientific poster designing (10%).
POSTER THEME AND CONTENT
The general theme for your poster is based on your school (Architecture).
Assessment: PAIR ASSESSMENT (10%)
1. Choose and analyze ONE topic (One of the Historical building). The chosen topic must
be unique. Each pair needs to submit their topic to the lecturer in Week 2 based on first
come first served basis.
2. You may present on the aspects of its historical or any other features that relates to the
topic. All the information in the poster must be from scholarly resources.
3. Poster format:
a. A3 size
b. Scientific poster format
4. Each poster should include:
a. Clear sections (a minimum of three (3) that you want to highlight on your
selected topic)
b. Information about the members in the pair: Full Name and Schools Address
and Taylors Logo
c. A list of all references (separate document)
i. A minimum of five (5) references
ii. Attached on a separate page after conclusion (Ms Word)
iii. Provide information of the referred sources (citation):

1. Name of original author/owner/institution/organisation.


2. Date of publication/date of released of information
3. Title of the sources
4. Website links (if applicable)
5. Date of access of information (when referring to websites only)
SUBMISSION
Students are required to submit the poster in .png, .jpeg or any other suitable format. (Please
remember your document should be able to be opened in multiple devices and doesnt require a
download of external or uncommon software to be accessed.)
