Design their penguin.

It discovers about the life cycle of the animals, such as penguin.


Distinguishes between three types of animals and lifetime.
Distinguish each stage of the life of penguins and what distinguish this stage
Recognise the definition of each Lifecycle and lifespan.

Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction/demonstration of small group activities)

Each group will have a worksheet, dice, and colour. Each group will have 6
students turn by turn they will throw the dice, then what they will get a
number from the dice. Each number has drawn somethings such as if they
get number one they will draw eyes and if they will get number two they
will throw again.

Independent Experience (small group activity 1)

They will open the book page 128 and they will read a second paragraph
about the penguin life cycle then they will close the book. The teacher will
put on the board 4 picture about the penguin life cycle and 4 cards about
the names of each step. The teacher will choose four student from each
group then these student turn by turn they will put the penguin life cycles
in the correct order.

Independent Experience (in pair )


The teacher will put two words ( Life cycles, lifespan ) on the board and the

teacher will choose two students each student will take 4 similar sentences
so the teacher will say the description about the lifecycles and lifespan so
the students how has the same description should put on the board first
and how will answer more he will win.
Independent Experience(small group activity 3)

The teacher will put different animal on the class ( picture, games, real
fish ) on the different place in the classroom so each group will search for
this animal after they found this animal they will read paragraph page 129
on the book then the teacher will ask them which animal found and how
many years they will life ( lifespan).

Closing

On the end of the lesson the teacher will ask each students on the group a
question to be sure they understand the lesson.

Assessment

I assist the student by checking them if they write the answers on their Sciences
book and if they not answer I explain for them the question then I let them try to
answer questions.
I assist the students when they do their tasks so I walk around the class to check
they do their work on the time or not.

Reflection WWW/EBI

On this lesson I start to engage them by throwing the dice then when they get a
number from the dice then they will look to the paper and number so If they get
number one they will draw eyes so its so useful for them to let them discover
more about the lesson, then I make for them three activity during this activity
they will open the book. So its good to be sure this activity that related on this
page. So when the students will study for the exam he will remember the activity
so will be easy for them. So it will be better if I use a video for them about
penguin life cycle or do with them an experiment.

Next Steps in learning and teaching

On my next teaching, I would use a technology to be more fun.
