Systematic Learning Experience.

Probing the Conformational Fluctuations owing to Point Mutations in Formylglycine generating
enzyme through Discrete molecular Dynamics.
Multiple sulphatase disorders are a form of
lysosomal storage diseases that are triggered by mutations in FGE. Extensive computational studies on
the mutants of this enzyme were carried out to understand the prevalence of this class of diseases
along with suggestive cures using discrete molecular dynamics.
Quantum Mechanical Calculations on Chemotherapeutic drugs to detect Effective Drug Targets.
Visualization and analysis of various chemotherapeutic drugs using various software tools to come up
with effective drug targets to aid in cancer treatment and research.
Online Pharmacological Browser [Role: Developer and Database Management].
Designed VIT
Pharma Browser which collates , shifts and provides specific information from a database of drugs created
by inter linking various databases. It was created using CGI and web programming using PERL in the back
end and HTML for the front end. The browser enables faster access to various sources that provide
extensive information regarding drugs and compares the research conclusions, thereby giving better
perspective to doctors and pharmacists.
Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy in Sportsmen.
Studying patterns of brain MRI images of the
affected sportsmen and relating the type of injuries to the disorder using ImageJ, an image processing tool
developed by NIH.
Changing the Perception from a back up to Priority of an Educational Institution.
Based
on
survey carried out of 3000 students of different programs of the university and critically analysied if VIT was
their first option and the reasons behind the institute being a backup. Using statistical analysis, various
rationales were found and effective suggestive measures were provided to make VIT the first institute
of preference amongst the aspiring engineers. This project was awarded Most innovative business
solutions by the business incubator of VIT.

Internship.
Developed a software tool to determine the amount of gamma radiation required to enhance the
shelf life of specific fruits and vegetables at Defence Research and Development Organization, Defence
Laboratory (Jodhpur).
Research Interests. Pharmacoinformatics esp. Chemoinformatics and Cancer biology Study of various
aspects of Drug discovery such as Virtual screening, Quantitative structure activity relationships, molecular
interactions, ADMET properties of drugs, molecular dynamics simulation, ligand-active site dynamics.
