1. In GMRB Client choose:

3. Export the data to excel:

Do not include hyperlinks in the extract:

4. Store file as < gmrb dashboard.xls>


5. Prepare the data in <gmrb dashboard.xls> for upload to access
database:
a) Filter data in <gmrb dashboard.xls> by column Process date by blanks:

And delete all rows with empty Process Date.


b) Restrict dashboard data to Affiliates serviced by SCE:
i. use vlookup and list of the Affiliates from the file:
\\PMIPLKRKFNP02\SSC FI Group\Accounting & Reporting\Management
Team\Reporting Transmissions\List of serviced PMI Affiliates 2010.xls
ii. delete rows with #N/A after vlookup
iii. delete column with vlookup results
c) Run macro from file 1.xls
i.
ii.

Open file macro1.xls (enable macros)


Run macro1 on file gmrb dashboard.xls
Confirm deletion of worksheet with reports summary:

After running macro file should have below form

Give name for column E Period, for all lines put abbreviation of month for
which data are loaded. File should have below form

6. Save file on your local drive.

2. Prepare Loading data


1. Run query < Incoming Transmissions database.xls> in GMRB
Reporting:

2. Save the file as < Incoming Transmissions database.xls:

In current month folder in:


\\PMIPLKRKFNP02\SSC FI Group\Accounting & Reporting\Management
Team\Reporting Transmissions,
- the file will be used to prepare file for Supervisors` comments.
On your local drive
- the file will be used by access database

3. Operations within GMRB Database application


3.1. Due Dates
Go to Due Dates and change them to proper dates which refers to each affiliate.

After pressing the button you will be moved to the table where Due Dates for each affiliate are
stored (as showed below).

3.2. Dashboard No.
Each January dashboard no. changes. To change them in the database click on Dashboard No.
button as showed below.

You will be moved to the Dashboard No. table edition.

3.3. Adding new affiliate/removing one


In order to change the table containing affiliates press the button marked below.

Each affiliate is connected with particular group, which is crucial for reports generating. You can
see it below.

Make sure that you entered proper group name when adding new affiliate. To delete an affiliate
select it by pressing a little field next to its name and then right click it and press Delete
Record. It is showed below.

3.4. Loading new data


In order to prepare report containing new month data, use two buttons:

The first one, labeled Input data (L). enables user to add loading data from next month. The
second one, labeled Input data (D), enables user to add dashboarding data. After pressing any
of these buttons, dialog box appears:

In dialog box, please find and select files containing loading or dashboarding data and press
Select button.
After adding any data, both buttons Count (L) and Count (D) should be used to prepare
added data for new reports.

3.5. Generating reports


Four types can be generated in GMRB Database.
For dashboarding and loading you can generate long reports which shows every affiliate and
marks ones which have overdue. It also displays delays in hours and minutes.
Long reports can be accessed by buttons marked below.

You can also generate short reports for particular month. However short reports do not display
exact delays. Just show which groups of affiliates were delayed:
