Graphs should include a concluding statement that shows the significance of the data. (i.e.,

items will be provided.") They should reflect accuracy of calculations.

Visual Appeal

Infographic is creative and aesthetically pleasing - didnt just add graphics without any regard
for visual appeal. The data visualization formats chosen make the data presented easy for the
viewer to understand the information.
Use of appropriate font to both complement the content and make the text readable.
Graphs, tables, titles, labels, percentage signs are legible
Visually appealing colors combinations, doesnt strain the eye
Appropriate use of graphical elements - appropriate combination of graphics & text
The elements included support research to make it easier for viewer to understand.

Organization of Content

Strategic use of digital media and visual displays. Arrangement of content informs and educates
the audience. Infographic reflects research done and educates the audience about the driving
question of the Survival Hawaii Integrated Project: If there were no more planes or barges,
how would Hawaii get its food?
