Prior Knowledge (What knowledge are you building in?)


Students are familiar with the daily use for the family members words, such as: brother and sister, and
they knows the words Mum and Dad as Mother and Father, and the words Grandpa and Grandma as
Grandfather and Grandmother.

Lesson Objectives: (What will students be able to do by the end of the lesson?)
Student will be able to know each member of the family and will know how to classify them in the family
tree.

Materials:
PowerPoint, Cards that match each member name, Empty papers to create a house from it, Draw family
tree.
Evaluation / Assessment: (How will you know your students have achieved the goal?)
Creating a house in groups and Individual worksheet assessed by the teacher after the class.

title and will ask oral questions about
the people in our neighborhood then
will sing together with the students a
song that will be showed in the
PowerPoint.

The students replay on


the teacher questions.
And sings the song with
her.

Using the PowerPoint together we


investigate for the members of our
family. Where there is a question
mark in each member face and
through our investigation for the
members the question marks sweep
off and the members face and name
appears. Through that the teacher
asks oral questions such as:
Who do you think will be the next
member? and asking the students
to guess the naming of the family
members.
Teacher will put an example in the
board and will explain the activity to
them then will let each group work
together to put the words with the
correct picture.

The students replay to


the teacher questions
and try to get as much
family members as they
can.
