When looking at who was on the ballots for this presidential election and when watching
the news over the summer, America wondered if Trump had an actual chance of winning if
Hillary Clinton would be punished for her email scandal. At the beginning of this project I
decided to take the approach as to see if Hillary Clinton should be president or not. The sources I
used started to look at her email scandal - and what the FBI had to say about that, what her
platform was, and if she was qualified to be the 45th President of The United States. Many people
tended to give out their own opinions of who should be elected and why. I decided to dig a little deeper
and identify if Hillary Clinton should be president or not based on the FBI scandal and what the FBI had
to say about it, what her platform was, and her credibility based on her political history
The visual prezi that I created first posed the question, Should Hillary Clinton be
president? From here I branched out to some topics that Ive heard spoken about during the
election as to whether or not she should be president. The first point that is brought to attention is
the infamous emails from her account. The source supporting this defense that most people have
is that she should lose her constitutional rights as a citizen to run as president for being under
FBI investigation. The source also questioned her own words that were used to say others
shouldnt be allowed to run if they have convicted a crime. The next point that was brought to
attention was would her scandal affect her presidency, and how well she would do. At the time
of the source being written, the scandal had not affected her standing in the polls as. The final
string of questions mainly inquired about what her platform was and just explaining how her past

has affected what her platform throughout her political career has stood for. I explored the most talked
about topic on television, which was should Hillary Clinton lose her constitutional right to run for
president for being investigated about her emails? In the article by Geoff Colvin it explains that any
other ordinary citizen would lose their constitutional right to run for president if they were being
investigated by the FBI. The author uses some quotes from Clinton addressing this subject, "If the FBI is
watching you for terrorist links you shouldn't just be able to go buy a gun." This quote does support the
argument that Clinton should lose her rights, and even she says so herself. However, the context that
this author pulls this quote from is around the time of 9/11. After exploring this article I wondered if
Clinton should lose the right to be able to run for president. Elliot Tony wrote an article on this topic
exemplifying parts of the constitution that if anyone is to commit a crime, like the one Clinton was being
investigated for, should be imprisoned for three years and banned from holding any sort of office in the
U.S.. After reading these articles, those who make this argument as to the reason why Hillary Clinton
shouldn't be in office have a great point but this inspired a new question of mine. Would this email
scandal hurt her in the election? Another article by Colvin tackled this question head on. The article
explains that the scandal had the potential to ruin her campaign, if Trump had not been an even worse
candidate. All of the things he had said and done during the election overshadowed the bad of Hillary's
wrongdoing and just showed that she is still highly qualified to be POTUS
The purpose in choosing this topic was not only to educate myself on one of the educated
myself, and others on one of the presidential candidates but to inquire about some of the arguments
from every angle about whether or not for Hillary Clinton should be president but to educate my
audience in a nutshell about what she has done in her political career. My product was designed with
the goal in mind to be easy for everyone to read quickly and for them to be well informed after reading
it. I figured the best way to do this and easy to relay to a mas group of people would be to create a
brochure. Each fold would have some information about Hillary and how long she has endorsed what

she is speaking about, as well as comparing her to Donald Trump as the pros and cons of both. Each fold
in the brochure will have information that I have found out while researching this topic. It will argue and
show evidence from two articles about the FBI investigation and whether or not she should have been
running for president. On some other parts of the folds it will layout a timeline of Hillary Clinton's
political career and show that she has been fighting for the same things she speaks about now during
her whole career. Her whole career shows consistency and that she is extremely qualified to be the
POTUS due to being first lady, secretary of state, as well as other positions in politics.
Overall, my audience for the entire project the duration of this research was anyone who
wanted to be more informed about the election. Whether you were on the fence about either candidate
or you liked one and hated the other, the goal when creating this product was to condense the
information I discovered into an easy and simplified reading for those who were catching up on to the
election late. It is important to always be informed about what is going on not only in your community
but nationally and globally.
