Introduction

There are currently 7 different types of shell in Metal Waltz, each one having its own tech tree that spans 18 different levels across three tiers. Different levels can be researched with
science, and individual shells can be purchased with science and blueprints.
Certain types of tank can only equip certain shells, and each shell comes with its own attributes and various effects.

Researched shells provide bonus effects that can prove beneficial in combat:

Tracer

Increases the target's chance to be targeted more often

Capped

Reduces chance of ricochet against special armours

Assault

The closer the target, the greater the penetration

Quickfire

Quickfire clip increases damage by a certain percentage

Composite-Rigid

The closer the target, the greater the firepower

Hardened

Affected by target's armour, less armour is prefered

Tempered

Target's armour is less effective

Discarding-Sabot

Ignores a portion of the target's armour

Spinning

Reduces chance of ricochet against special armours

Rod-Cap

Reduces chance of ricochet against special armours

Burst

Debuffs the target, reducing their armour

High-Explosive

Target's armour is less effective

Extended-Range

Has a longer range than similar weapons

What do the yellow circular icons mean?

Tbh the APCR layout doesn't really seem practical for displaying shell info, mainly for crafting.
Shells that use different blueprints will be a pain, especially for ones with multiple blueprints.

The problem is we can't get exact amount from game without some calculation, I am sad to tell
you that most resource costs of AP are incorrect, such as APCBC-I(M) in tier 3-4, it cost 636
Wreck, 19 N5 and 11 N6 because it is the total of all three techs, including APCBC-T (M) and
HCAPCBC (M), and you'll need to subtract those two first for correct value for APCBC-I(M)
It won't be a big problem to fill that table, I can use N3*20 or

I didn't even consider that when filling out the values fml.
Oh well, it'll be easy enough for me to work out the costs. I'll get round to replacing them
eventually
