Former (historical) Continental Seating Rules

Maximum 100 chairs per row - Maximum 49 to aisle.

Exceptionally wide spacing between rows, according to specific regulations.
Exit required at end of row to separate fire area, ratio of 1 exit for each 5 rows.

Former (historical) Conventional Seating Rules

Maximum 14 chairs between legal aisles
Maximum 7 chairs between aisle and a wall.

Continental Seating:
Not more than 49 chairs from chair "X" to an aisle
