December Non-Competitive Newsletter

Happy Holidays! We are so excited to see all of our performers show off their skills at the
Christmas Show! We have noticed a lot of absences in the last couple of weeks and we want to
remind everyone how important it is that your child is in class so that we can get as much
accomplished as possible. Just a reminder the classes your children are currently enrolled
in will resume on January 2nd and will go through May 18th. You do not have to register
again for these classes.

Important Dates

December 10th- Tumbling Shows @ Studio (See times below)

Dec. 16th- Christmas Show Dress Rehearsal @ Granger High School (specific times in
newsletter)
Dec. 17th- Christmas Shows @ Granger High School (Specific shows in newsletter)
Dec. 18th - Jan. 1st- Christmas Break (NO CLASS)
January 2nd- 5th 4:00-8:00 pm- Open registration for new students. *Make sure to refer
your friends and receive $20 cash

Performance Tights
There was a misprint on the November newsletter regarding combo class tights. We are very
sorry for any confusion. All Combo class students must be wearing the tights from our online
store, that can be found under the combo class tab. If you have not already ordered these, you
must do so ASAP to have them in time for the christmas show. Class P is the only non
competitive class that needs Capezio stirrup tights, and these can also be found on our online
store under the Class P tab.
Hair & Makeup
Just a reminder that all non-competitive classes must have their hair slicked straight back in a
high sock bun. If you need instructions on how to do this, there are many instructional videos on
youtube. All performers (except boys) need to be wearing blush, red lipstick, smokey eye
makeup and Mascara.
Costumes
All Leotards/Tutus and Biketards are ready to be picked up at the front desk. All hip-hop class
costumes are ready as well. The rest of the non-competing costumes should be in this week
with an exception to a few items. Please check with the front desk to see if your childs costume
is ready. If your account is not up to date, you will not be able to receive a costume until it
is.Please take the time to take the costumes out of their bag, and steam them to release all
wrinkles before the Christmas Show.

Spirit Wear & Blankets

Make sure to stop in to the studio to take a look at all the fun Gravity spirit wear options. Order
forms are at the front desk, and are due by January 14th at 8:00pm. We also have soft and cozy
Gravity Blankets for sale at the front desk for $25, but hurry in fast because there is only a
limited quantity.

Tumbling Show
Our Christmas Tumbling Show will be held on Dec. 10th at the studio. Specific times are listed
below. Tumblers need to be to the studio a half hour before their show time to get stretched and
ready. They need to be dressed in their Gravity biketards or t-shirt & shorts with their hair pulled
back in a low pony tail. Make-up is not required for the tumbling show. Biketards will not be
handed out to a child until they are paid for and accounts are completely caught up. Biketards
are now ready to be picked up at the front desk. The order listed below will be the show order.

1st show 10:00am- Classes T, V, & R, Jr. & Sr. Company, Comets.
2nd show 11:30am-Classes U, S, & X, Shooting Stars Jr. & Sr. Company, Comets.
3rd Show 1:00 pm- Classes W, Q, & Y, Tiny, Mini,& Petite company, Jr. & Sr. Company,
Comets.

Dress Rehearsal (December 16th)

All non-competitive classes need to plan to be at Granger High School from 4:45-6:30 pm. The
dress rehearsal will start promptly at 5:00 pm, and we will go in alphabetical order starting with
class A. We will be on a tight schedule and will not be able to wait for dancers who are late. It is
very important that everyone is on time at 4:45 pm so your dancer gets a chance to practice
performing on the stage. Once your childs class has practiced on the stage you are free to
leave. If your child is in a combo class and a hip hop class, please have them come in their
combo class leotard and tutu first.

Christmas Shows
All performers need to be to Granger High School a half hour before their show starts. Dancers
must stay in their designated dressing rooms for the entire show. Auditorium doors will open 20
minutes before showtime. Everyone must exit the auditorium in between each show. Please let
us know by Dec. 8th if there are any conflicts you see with the order of performance.
