ADMISSION SCHEDULE

Undergraduate Programmes (B.E., BS, B. Arch)

Batch 2016-17
All candidates who qualify the Pre-Admission Entry Test of this University, are
advised in their own interest to read the following very carefully. Those having their names
appear in the Call List should also note down the schedule for their personal appearances for
Submission of documents, Medical Fitness Test and for the Interview & Admission.
All candidates should immediately enter their HSC marks/IBCC Equivalent Marks
on the Admission Portal and upload their HSC or Equivalent Mark Sheet/ IBCC
Equivalency Certificate on Admission Portal soon after they receive it from respective board.
Last date for submission (online) of Mark Sheet is 9th September 2016 (A-level/12th Grade IBCC
Equivalency Certificate is 23st September, 2016). All those having not submitted their mark Sheets
shall be excluded from Merit List.
Data Record of applications will be displayed on the University Website
(http://www.neduet.edu.pk) on 17th September, 2016 (A-level/12th Grade 30st September, 2016).
Any applicant having his/her record needed correction may contact Admission Office on or before
23rd September, 2016 (A-level/12th Grade 5th October, 2016).
The Call List / First Provisional Merit list for each category under Regular and Self
Finance schemes will be notified by the University on 30th September, 2016 (A-level/12th Grade
13th October, 2016). The list will be displayed on the University Notice Boards at the gate of the
main campus and will also be made available on the University Website.
Each Candidate, according to the order of merit in the List, should personally report for
Submission of following ORIGINAL documents (including failed and improved mark sheets)
along with two sets of photocopies of the documents as mentioned and Medical Fitness
Test at Admission Office on the date and time specified for reporting, according to the
schedule.

(Medical Fitness Test) After Submission of documents candidate shall have to:
Deposit Rs.1200/- (Rupees One Thousand and Two Hundred only) with the NBP, NED
University Branch, and Produce Bank deposit slip to the Principal Medical Officer
(PMO)Medical Department of the University along with Chest PA view X-Ray, two
passport size photographs and attested photocopy of Matriculation Certificate. In
case of foreign examination candidates proof of date of birth should be produced.

Candidates would then be required to appear before the Interview Committee on specific date and
time, as annexed, to choose the discipline from the available seats in their respective category. The
selection of discipline / programme is based on a computerized interactive process. The choice of
available seats would decrease as one goes down in the order of merit and each candidate will
have to make on-the-spot choice from the seats available. To assist the candidate in making
the decision he / she may bring his / her parents (or guardian) on the day of interview.
Candidate should come prepared to choose the discipline, filling the block given below according to
their preference of disciplines. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc might help them in making on the spot choice.

If the candidate is unable to attend the interview in case of exceptional

circumstances he / she may authorize any person, preferably a parent, to come on the
interview day and take decision on behalf of candidate. The person so authorized shall have
to complete all formalities required by the University regarding admission process.
Candidates who expect to face exceptional circumstances should contact the Chairman
Admission Committee after the Medical Test.
The name of candidates who do not appear for medical, do not submit the original
documents and / or fail to appear for interview / Admission on the specified schedule dates for
each category, shall be deleted from the schedule List.
If a Candidate reports for admission after his/her scheduled date/time, University
authority may consider him /her for admission on merit against available seats under
respective category.
All candidates should bring Cash/Pay-Order of following amount in favour of Director
Finance of NED University on the day of interview admission.

telephonic or personal statements shall be considered relevant in case any of such claims.
