Abstract

Technological developments of control systems in industrial process today

towards to application of electro-pneumatic technology, as follows pneumatic
components setting through electrical signals. Pressure control trainer 38-714 is
teaching module of electro-pneumatik technology that discusses about pressure
regulation. Change of load variations and disruption in the electro-pneumatic
technology can make the system response does not match with expected criteria.
Disruption Effects contained in the process can be reduced by the cascade
controller. Furthermore, the cascade method used to increase system response
speed. With fuzzy approach, the controller problem can be solved easily without
complicated mathematical calculations.
The fuzzy cascade controller is two fuzzy controllers which arranged in
cascade. The primary side formed a fuzzy controller for the regulation of pressure,
while on the secondary side formed fuzzy controller to control the flow.
Based on implementation results, the fuzzy cascade controllers in this
study are able to reduce the overshoot maximum value, steady state time and error
steady state. If fuzzy cascade controller compared to a single fuzzy controller, it
shows that fuzzy cascade controller is better that single fuzzy controller in
manufacturing, calculating, and implementation. We hope that this method can
applied arond the world in aim to ease all industrial processes.
