Scavenger Hunt.
TOPIC: Improvisation

Now that you have explored and familiarized yourself with QR Codes, and determined what
criteria are most important, you will use that knowledge to develop an QR lesson for your
students using QR codes.

Process: You will approach the development of your lesson as an instructional designer. You must
think of your objectives, correlating standards, TPACK, and more.

hunt components.
1. On what content area and topic will you focus?
I will teach students the rules of improvisation and how to use them in games. They will be
able to create scenes with a partner based off a scenario given to them.
2. On which standards will you focus?
I will focus on standard III, critically thinking. I will also focus on Standards I and II, Create
and Perform.
3. Write an appropriate objective.
Students will create a scene with a partner with only a scenario and place.
4. Create an outline, story board, or summary of your hunt idea(s). What will you use to
create your lesson/hunt? What are the themes or concepts? What do you hope the final
product will look like? How will you assess, or how will students show mastery?
Students will be introduced to the rule of improv. They will then move through the different
parts of improve: Always agree and say, Yes, Yes, And, Make statements, and there are
no mistakes only. We will then explore how character is built off of these rules. For the
daily end activity, students will complete a worksheet that corresponds with the scavenger
hunt. If this were to be expanded into a whole unit, students would the research and guide
their own improv. game.
