Controlling the humidity, ventilation and temperature in a building or
vehicle, is one of the function of the air conditioning unit. First the
refrigerant(8) more commonly known as freon, in a form of gas or liquid
which passes through all the other component like the compressor(1).
Compressor(1) collects the air that compresses from a low temperature gas
to high temperature gas. Compressor clutch(7) that engages and disengages
the compressor. The converted refrigerant condenses from gas to a liquid by
the condenser(3) and send them in the form of liquid to the evaporator(2).
Wherein the refrigerants evaporates as it gets very cold and allows inside the
building or car to cooled off. Air conditioning unit consist if some protective
device like the hose assembly(9) which is the pathway of the Freon between
the other major components. The other one is the storage tank filter known
as accumulator/drier(6) that removes moisture from the refrigerant. The
cycling switch(4) which regulates the operation of the compressor depending
on system pressure or temperature. This part located on the control panel(5)
which provide to control and select the temperature, quantity and location of
air to come from the air conditioning system.
