The student observed a kindergarten classroom. During the visit, students listened to an audio about jungle animals and acted out how the animals moved. They also worked on a large pictionary puzzle of jungle animals. This addressed teaching standards around listening skills, making connections between information, and problem solving. The activities helped students learn about jungle animals and their movements while building related skills. The teacher struggled at times to control the class and would remind students of rules. An emerging question is whether some misbehavior could be reduced if students sat in seats during activities.
