golden opportunity to do this wonderful project on the topic New product proposal presentation.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This report explains the business plan for the launching a new product line of bio-degradable bag
named as Green bag. This product has been made by G-planet Pvt. Ltd and is approved by
Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment. In the beginning, the company profile, its
mission statement and vision have been explained. Then, the product is introduced along with
process regarding the product development and stakeholders related to them. This product
examines that the product is initially launched in G-planets domestic market.
This report covers both primary and secondary research. The primary study focuses on survey of
the competitors, product development plan and preferences of the customers. Through this
strategy company can penetrate in the market and attract bulk of customers. The secondary sturdy
covers the SWOT analysis of the company to see the companys strength, weaknesses,
opportunities and threats. The purpose of making these products, benefits and objectives are duly
explained, along with the marketing mix strategy of the products. The market is divided into
different segments and pricing of the products among them is done accordingly.

Introduction
G-Planet Pvt. Ltd is a for profit company established in 2015 by 6 young, business school
students that manufactures and promotes the sale of environment friendly products and services,
especially the green bags. It is located in Dhapasi. It was established with a vision to give
alternative to the single usable plastic bags. The company also helps to empower people with
speech disorder by providing them employment opportunities. Their 25% staffs have speech
disorder.
G-Planet operates as a design and product supply company which creatively addresses the needs
and opportunities related to this world-wide issue of disposable shopping bags.
In addition to our own brand Green bags, we also provide a comprehensive design service, from
concept to finished products, as a tailored response to individual company or business
requirements.
History
On 14th April, coinciding with Navavarsha -New Years Day-the Nepal government decided to
ban the import, storage, selling and distribution, and use of plastic bags upto 40 microns
thickness and up to 20*35 inches (50.8*88.9 cm) size. The government took this decision to
address the environmental dangers associated by plastic bags. The citizens somehow complained
about this decision citing the unavailability of the alternatives of plastic bags. This is when the
idea of producing and distributing the multiple use green bags came up in the mind of a bunch of
business students.

The objectives of the company will be as follows:
a. To enhance customer satisfaction by providing high quality service and value for
money.
b. To maintain a market share in Nepalese market and earn profit through maximum
turnover.
c. To maintain a productive and positive employee environment.
