1. KEGIATAN PRA-PEMBELAJARAN (PRE-INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITY)
a. Motivasi (Motivation)

Motivation is used to pick the students interest to follow the teachers instruction in the
classroom. The teacher requires to impress the students at the first meeting so that they will like the
lesson. It will also stimulate the students to visualize what they are going to learn. In order to focus
their focus on the topic agreement/dissagreement, the teacher is going show pictures and ask the
students whether or not they agree with them. The teacher is going to give leading questions as well.

2. PRESENTASI DARI GURU (INFORMATION PRESENTATION)


a. The Definition of the expression of agreement and disagreement
Agree and disagree is expression toward our ideas or statements that usually we gave in our life.
As we know that people around us sometimes agree/disagree with these ideas or statements.
Agreement and disagreement are types of affirmation and denial in which the expressions of
judgements or opinions rather that the assertion of fact is involved. It is all the more necessary
not to offend standards of politeness when the other persons judgement is in question.
b. Expression of Agreement / Disagreement
Saying that you agree:
Yes, I agree with you
I think so
I know what you mean
That is true
I agree to do so
I dont have any objection to it
I am with you
I agree with your opinion
I am on your side
I can go along with that
I like your idea
Other ways of expressing agreement are:
Thats just what I was thinking
You know, thats exactly what I think
Thats a good point.
Saying that you disagree:

Strong disagreement - If you know someone very well you can disagree more directly using

expressions like these:

I cant agree with you there


You cant be serious!

Task 3 : divide the class into two big groups, one agrees with smackdown is
dangerous sport, the other one disagrees with smackdown is dangerous sport.
Conduct a debate ! Each student in the groups should have opportunity to speak

mereka sendiri berdasarkan pernyataan-pernyataan di dalam video secara lisan


Secara berkelompok, siswa diberikan waktu untuk mempersiapkan debat tentang
