Octopuses are ocean creatures with eight

tentacles. Like squids and cuttlefish, octopuses

do not have shells or scales, but skin.
Some octopuses live in warm waters,
others inhabit cold waters. Those that live in
cold waters are bigger than those in warm
waters. They may grow up to 9 m and weigh
45-50 kg. their life spans range from 1 to 2
years.
Strangely, as octopuses breathe, sending
water out of the bodies, they move backwards.
They also avoid danger and predators this way.
Another octopuses weapon is their toxic
saliva, transferred through a bite.

more than twenty thousand species.
Generally, there are two kinds of bees.
The first type is solitary bees living alone
and the latter is social bees living in
group. They live everywhere in the world
except, high mountains. They live to
pollinate and produce honey and
beeswax.
Bees range in colors, such as yellow,
black, gray, green, blue, and red. They
have two pairs of wings. The size of
wings also determines social status and
sex. Most bees can fly forward,
backward, sideways, or stay still. Besides
having three regular eyes, they also have
a pair of compound eyes. With their eyes,
they can differentiate flowers by shapes

Pelagic fish are residents of the pelagic
zone. Based on the depth of the water they
inhabit, pelagic fish are categorized into
coastal and oceanic fish.
Coastal pelagic fish inhabit sunlit waters
up to about 655 feet deep or above the
continental shelf. Anchovies, sardines, shad,
menhaden, and their predators belong to this
fish. Oceanic pelagic fish, such as swordfish,
tuna, mackerel, and sharks, live below the
continental shelf. Though many oceanic
pelagic fish may live in the coastal waters, the
true oceanic pelagic fish spend their whole life
in the open ocean. The inhabitants of both
coastal and oceanic waters vary, depending on
the availability of sunlight, nutrients, dissolved
oxygen, temperature, salinity, and pressure.
