pada Mencit yang Diinduksi Aloksan

Metode uji pada hewan diabetes diinduksi diabetogen (in vivo)
3. Prinsip metode penilitian
Induksi diabetes dilakukan terhadap hewan uji dengan diabetogen seperti aloksan dll,
dimana perkembangan hiperglikemia diperiksa setiap hari. Pemberian obat antidiabetik
secara oral terhadap hewan uji diabetes dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa darah hewan uji
tersebut dibandingkan kontrol.

Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji ANOVA pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%.
Apabila hasil uji ANOVA menunjukkan adanya perbedaan bermakna, maka dilanjutkan
dengan uji LSD untuk mengetahui kelompok mana saja yang mempunyai perbedaan
bermakna.

Kesimpulan
Dari hasil penelitian dan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa
ekstrak etanol daun Eugenia polyantha dengan dosis 2,62 mg/20 g BB dan 5,24 mg/20 g
BB dapat menurunkan secara bermakna kadar glukosa darah mencit jantan yang diinduksi
dengan aloksan (p<0,05). Karena sampai saat ini masih belum diketahui kandungan daun

salam yang berkhasiat menurunkan kadar glukosa darah mencit, maka disarankan untuk
melakukan penelitian isolasi kandungan Eugenia polyantha dan menguji khasiat
hipoglikemianya.

albicans ATCC 14053, Candida parapsilosis ATCC 22019, Candida krusei ATCC 6258

Keterangan :

A positive result was defined as an inhibition zone (halo size) of 9 mm or more


around the holes, indicating the presence of antimicrobial substance, or group of

substances, in the extracts tested.


The sterility control was prepared with the culture broth and the DMSO (without

grape pomace and microorganism suspension).


The growth control was prepared with the culture broth, the DMSO and 5 L inoculum

of the microbial suspension (107 CFU/mL) (without extracts).


All experiments were performed in duplicate and the plates incubated for 24 h at 36C

Kesimpulan
The supercritical fluid extracts presented the highest antimicrobial effectiveness compared to
the other grape pomace extracts due to the presence of antimicrobial active compounds.
Syrah extracts were less efficient against the microorganisms tested and Merlot extracts were
more active against Gram-positive bacteria.
