VISITOR COMMENTS:
Dear Karen,
In this lesson, students needed to explain why they considered jokes as funny
or not. I guess the introduction was appropriate since you asked students to
recap some information from precious lessons. Then they were also put in
groups and were able to discuss their ideas on what they consider fun.
Although at the end students were asked to report their findings after the
group discussion, I feel this activity can be turned into a more task like
activity if they are first asked to identify those characteristics of a funny joke.
Of course, this is just one of many options that you can use to change the
books activity into more demanding and a t the same time much interesting
activities. Please, let me know what your plans are in this aspect of teaching
Best regards,
Ivan Aguilar
TEACHERS COMMENTS
Dear teacher,
It is always good to have you as a visitor in mi class. I see the supervisions as
ways to learn, improve and change.
What I plan is to have into consideration the pillars we are working with at
the moment of preparing mi lessons. Regarding task based learning
specifically, I plan to divide activities into small achievable tasks that when
are built one after another have a clear and measurable outcome.
Thanks for your suggestions I always learn a lot
Sincerely
Karerm Vilela Matos
