2. What is your name?
RS: My name is Vidrasco Mihail
3. Where do you study? What is your faculty? Why did you choose this faculty?
RS: I study at the Technical University of Moldova
My faculty is Computers, Informatics and Microelecronics
I choose this faculty because a want to gain more computer and programming skills!
4. What is the most interesting subject at university?
RS: The most interesting subject at my university
5. Where are you from? Where were you born?
RS: I was born in Stefan-Voda city.
6. Date of birth? How did you spend your last birthday? What gifts did you get?
RS: I was born gp 11 of August 1991.
I spent my last birthday with my family and my friends. It was a fantastic birthday
party.. I get some gifis from my friends and parents but more I liked the gift of my girlfriend
that was a portrait drown by her!
7. Describe your native city/village.
RS: My native city is Stefan-Voda. It’s not a big city but it’s the city were I was born so I
love it very much. Stefan-Voda is a very beautiful city with a lot of green tries and a
fantastic nature. We have some parks, restaurants, and a Green Museum etc. I like Stefan-
Voda because it’s a very calm city an people are benevolent.
8. Describe your family.
RS: My family consists of five members: Me, my mother, my father and two sisters. My
father’s name is Anton, he works as a driver, My Mather’s name is Lionia, she don’t works
and my sisters names is Tatiana and Larisa.
9. Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend? Describe him/her.
RS: Yes, i have a girlfriend. She is a beautiful and very smart girl and she know better me
English and French.
10. Do you have a driving license? For how long do you drive?
RS: Ihave a driving license,and a driving skill about three years.11. Can you swim? What kind of swimming do you know?
RS: Yes I can swim,very well.
I know different styles of swimming like Crawl, Backstroke and Butterfly.
12. Say something about yourself.
RS: Well lam first of all a very hard working person, always positive and with a smile on
my face. I think that what peopie need in our days is to smile more often, like Americans
do. My friends tell me that am a very friendly person and I will always have good friends
neer me. Also I am very resistant to stresses, [ used to work a lot and to study a lot at the
university at the same time. Always positive, with good ideas. I like to get to know new
people and to become a good friend.
13. What do you do or what you like to do in your free time?
RS: Inmy free time I like to listen to music, to watch a movie, to go out with my friends
and to relax my self from the daily routine.
14. Can you describe yourself? How can you characterize yourself?
RS: I am positive, resistant to stress, hard working person. Friendly, calm and happy
person.

15. How long have you been learning English?
RS: Thave been learning English for one year.
16. Do you speak other languages? What languages?
RS: Yes I speak other languages like Romanian that is my native language, also Russian
and a little bit French.
17. Have you ever been abroad? What did you like about the countries you visited?
RS: Yes I have been in Ukraine in my summer holidays with my friends. I usually spent
all summers at the sea.
18. Why do you want to go in USA?
RS: I want to go to USA first off all to improve my English, also to travel and to get to
know more about American culture. I would like to see Yosemite, to see with my own eyes
the Statue of Liberty and also New York.
19. What job are applying for?
RS: Iam applying for a housekeeper position at Polynesian hotel situated in Wisconsin
Dells city, State Wisconsin.
20. Why did you choose this job? What do you like about this job?
RS: I choose this job because I think it won’t be such a difficult job, I have experience inhousekeeping and also I do a lot of housekeeping at home because I have a little sister and I
have to take care and to clean after here.
21. What duties will you have at this job?
RS: I will have to vacuum the carpets, to clean the dust from all the furniture, to clean up
the bathrooms and to keep the hotel rooms clean for the customers.
22. Do you think that this job is going to be difficult for you? Why?
RS: No I don’t think that this job is going to bee difficult for me because I have a little
sister that I am taking care of and as I am the oldest child in the family I have to keep the
house clean, so I do a lot of housekeeping at home and it’s not so difficult for me, also I
have work experience in housekeeping because I worked at Bender regional hospital as a
housekeeper.
23. What do you know about the location of the job that you are applying for?
RS: I know that Wisconsin Dells is situated in the south-centre of Wisconsin State, also I
know that Wisconsin Dells is known as a very touristic area in the summer time, because
there are many Water Parks and usually people came with there family’s from all over
America to enjoy the Water parks.

24, What information do you know about the company?
RS: I know that Polynesian Water Park Resort is a Water Park Hotel for Families with 10
years old kids and under, it has over 25 thousands square feet and nearly 5 hundred
thousands of indoor and outdoor water parks attractions.
25. Did you find some information on the internet about this company? What?
RS: Yes, I looked over the internet and find out that Polynesian Water Park Resort is the
perfect resort for families with little children, the Resort has a big Hotel were families can
stay over the night and around the hotel there are many water rides were fainilies with there
little children can enjoy the summer holidays.
26. What will you do if you have problems with your boss at work in US?
RS: [don’t think that I will have problems with my boss because I am not a problematic
person but if there will appear a problem I will do my best to find a peaceful solution, I will
talk in a calm way with my boss I will explain myself, I will understand him and of coerce I
will listen to him because he is the boss and I am his employee.
27. Where have you worked so far and in what position ?
RS: I worked in Bender City, at the regional Hospital “Center of Mother and Child”
‘As a housekeeper from June 2008 till august 2008. After that I worked in the same center
as a medical assistant from july 2009 till august 2010. From February 2010 till now I workas an operator at “Obrico MA” Company.
28. What did you like about that job?
RS: Asa housekeeper or medical assistant I liked that I was helping people but as an
operator I earned more money, and also helped people in explaining the company’s
products and how they can find us or how to buy certain items.
29. Tell us about your duties at that job?
RS: Asa housekeeper I had to clean change the laundry in the hospital rooms, to clean the
dust and to maintain the rooms clean in accordance with health regulations.
As a medical assistant I was responsible for peoples hospitalization, disinfection and
sterilization of surgical instruments, administration and distribution of drugs to patients and
also to assist the doctor in collecting samples and biological materials.
Asa operator I had to respond the phone, to consult clients, to record invoices and
also I was responsible of the document shipping.
30. What plans do you have for the future?
RS: I would like to become a good doctor, to be a good specialist in my field of study’s so
that I could get to help people. I would like to get married, to have a family, a loving
husband and two,gr 3 children’s.
31. What do you know about American culture/people?
RS: I know that the American culture is a very rich culture. Americans have a lot of
holidays. Among them is the 4-th of July that represents the day when the American people
declared their Independence. This Holiday is celebrated with a lot of fireworks. Among the
Independence day there are holiday like Thanks Given Day, Halloween and many other
holidays that we find only in the American’s Culture. I know that Americans are the first
country that declared there Independence and the first constitution was the American One.
32, What places would you recommend me to visit in Moldova?
RS: [would recommend you to visit Chisinau, it is the capitol of Republic of Moldova and
it’s a very beautiful city, a very green city with a lot of parks and restaurants were uou could
try our traditional meals. I would also recommend you to visit the National Museum of
History where you could get to know better the history of Republic of Moldova.
‘Also therer is a little underground town in Cricova city called Cricova’s Basements
where are kept the best vine of the Country and the oldest one to. The underground town is
so big that you need a car to drive from one side to another.
33. Tell about traditional food in Moldova? How do you prepare your favourite?
The traditional food in Moldova is “Mamaliga cu smintina si brinza de casa”. Its
translation means Mamaliga with cream and house made cheese. Mamaliga is made from
special cereals that are growing only in Moldova. It is served with cream and house madecheese, also with a little beat of pork meat that is prepared on a small fire in such a way that
it is melting in the mouth.
34, What places do you want to visit in USA?
RS: I would like to visit the Capitolium and the White House situated in Washington DC.
Also to take a walk on Wall Street in New York, to see the Empire State Building that is the
highest sky tower in New York. Also LasVegas and Los Angeles
35. What is your favourite actor/singer/writer? Describe him/her.
